Damnit, SEGA! And I bought a PSN Card for this today!

 

Can I just ask, since I have the Wii version and have heard the course isn't downloadable for it, if anyone can snapshot a picture of Ristar's cameo. I've watched several videos of the course, but I can't see him anywhere.

What a load of crap that the PS3 doesn't get it yet. Why does this keep happening? Couldn't care less about the MW2 toss, that's beyond ridiculously expensive anyway, this is only slightly overpriced. As I (think I) said in a comment on the blogs, they can't gain anything from this.

 

Okay, so PS3 owners had the chance to download Metal Sonic + Death Egg last week, only for it to me removed after a few hours, because (I'm assuming this is how it went. Seems plausible, anyway) apparently MS threw a hissy fit about PSN getting the packs before XBLA had the patch that ALLOWED DLC, so the DLC got removed, and a week later, XBLA gets the patch and said DLC that was removed a week earlier, only for PSN to get the same DLC that was out a week earlier 2 weeks later.

Anyways the new track is awesome! And Metal Sonic handles really well.
Metal Sonic's All-Star move is cool too. Metallic Madness Present JP version plays during this.

Am I the only one who feels that Metal Sonic's All-Star move is reminiscent to the race you have with him, that laser he uses seems to be like the one that chases you in Stardust Speedway, but without the Eggman watching. 'Cause he's racing.

I just got number 1 on the PS3 Egg Hanger charts. It hasn't uploaded yet, will update with a picture (hopefully) soon. It's not THAT impressive, seeing as there are only 26 people on the list. Is Groundon still number 1 on the Xbox? Going by Lizam's picture, I would take 3rd there, but if what Aquaslash says is true, that has changed.

I love this game! The graphics are truly amazing, and I love the amount of tracks and characters SEGA included. The vehicles fit the characters very well also! I tend to stick to racing as Shadow. He's my favorite. I hope to get the Death Egg tracks soon. They look like fun. I don't care so much about Metal Sonic though.

I know, people will probably laugh at me for asking this so late, but they're available as downloadable content on the Xbox 360 right? If not, when will they be?

Sweet! Thanks for telling me. I'm always excited to try out any Sonic track, and my little brother might want Metal Sonic.

 

So we're not getting the DLC before April 22nd on PS3, for absolutely no good reason? Fuck that shit. Hey, if you're gonna treat PS3 owners unfairly, maybe you should have made the PS3 version cheaper to compensate for that bullshit?

 

Especially since the Ryo Forklift DLC is more expensive on PS3 for...virtually no good reason.

 

And it was originally free, IF and only IF you happened to live in the right place. Hell, Ryo-F should be free altogether, or at the very least much cheaper; it's not like he's really a new character anyway.

 

Microsoft has shown a history of handing extra cash over to devs to get timed exclusivity on stuff.

I mean, I can wait until the 22nd for this just fine since I got too much stuff to do to bother with it. Others, like in this topic, are quite mad.

All I ask is Sega stop being scrooges and cheapen the other pack and PS3 owners hope they don't get scammed up the ass with this pack going for $10.

 

You PS3 users get permanant exclusivity for the Joker in Arkham Asylum. I think you can wait a few weeks for a little DLC pack.

 

I'm pretty sure it's included in Game of the Year edition.
