  1. Seriously? I noticed it dissapeared, but I thought that might have been because I bought it. Well, I've got it anyway, I don't think many other people do. I'm going to post pictures of his AllStar move (low quality via webcam :/), because I don't think it has been photo'd yet.

C'mon! And I was all hyped up for the DLC too :(

  3. Third reply in about half an hour, but this might be a bit much for an edit.
First of all, Metal Sonic's All Star Move:
    [IMG][IMG]
Nothing much to see here, just a very wide move. He speeds up when you mash the attack button. Lower quality image here.
    [IMG][IMG]
A couple of scenes from the Death Egg Zone track.

What appears to be Robotnik's Doomsday Machine. I can't get good quality shots for the life of me, it won't stop moving. I also have some lower quality pics here and here. Also, for giggles :3

    List of Music:
    General Offensive
    Never Let It Go
    Egg Fleet
    Space Gadget
    Cosmic Fall

That's it. I have no idea where the first two are from.

Never Let it Go is Metal Sonic's fight theme from Sonic the Fighters. I know that much. I THINK General Offensive might be the Sky Deck music.

What is/was the price for this DLC?

I think it was about 5 dollars US for Metal Sonic and Death Egg. The Ryo-F unlock code is ridiculously over-priced, which is about 4 dollars US.

  7. That might be right. Here it cost £4.79 if I am doing my maths right. Ryo costs £3.99. By the sounds of it Playstation don't bother converting, so you guys get it cheaper :/ In my opinion they are both overpriced. £5 is about an eighth of the RRP of the whole game.

I know Ryo-F is 4 dollars, because I looked it up on the US Xbox Live Arcade. Metal Sonic never popped up in the US, so I obviously can't figure that one out. It would probably be 5, though. Judging by the EU price (which IS over-priced, by the way. Why the hell don't they convert it?).

I heard they pulled the DLC for a little while because they released it too soon, can someone confirm/deny? As in, it is pulled back, but the reasoning seems to be unexplained.

Also, I'm feeling the effects of prolonged non-exposure to cash, seeing as this is something I seriously want to get, but I don't even own the game in the first place(Despite still being ranked #2 on the leader boards on Treetops, methinks). Although, I have to say, I'm slightly disappointed in the fact that it's only one stage and one character, but the addition of six songs(I'm including the theme from Sonic CD which plays when Metal Sonic goes All-Star), kinda makes up for it, plus I hear it's only somewhere around 500 Microsoft points, which ain't so bad.

Still, I don't own the gorram game. I wish I did.

Mmk, me and GameboyHero are gonna have a race on the Wii version of SaSASR, Tommorow (Friday) 3:30pm CST (About 9:30 for Brits, if you can't be arsed with figuring out Time Differences...I think), if anyone wants to join, assuming others have the Wii version since you all appear to have the PS3 version, then Friend Codes will be needed.

  12. It is no longer there. As I said, it might have been because I bought it already that it dissapeared, but I went to a friend's house shortly after buying it, and he said he could not find it.

I have one, two, three, four, five, six more attempts at pictures of the Doomsday machine. the first is ok, the next three are not. The last two are ok. Somebody mentioned an Eggrobo, I think I've seen them, but they will be moving way to fast for my cameraphone :| Let me just check and confirm they exist.

EDIT: Can't say for Eggrobos, but the Star Wars theme is kept - there are things resembling Tie Fighters. I wonder if that's what thingamajig meant. Also, read comment 19 in the above link =P

The reason the larger DLC was pulled probably has to do with the 360 version. The 360 version hasn't been patched for DLC yet, so it wouldn't be very fair for PS3 owners to have the actual DLC and the 360 ones screwed, right? Though that probably means the DLC patch was released on the PSN too early as well.

Yeah, try telling that to SEGA back when the Unleashed DLC was appearing. Poor PS3 owners had to wait weeks to get some of it after 360 owners were getting on a regular schedule.

  15. Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Map Pack. That is my answer to this statement. They may well have been planning in having it out on PSN before on XBL. Is Ryo on XBL yet?

Anyways, a picture of the map is here. I suppose I can talk through the level a bit. You start off by driving towards the Doomsday machine, then take a sharp left to get inside the Egg. There are a couple of dangerous jumps that you can get items from here. You drive past large laser weapons, and do a hairpin turn like those seen fairly often in Final Fortress. You do another hairpin in the opposite direction, then another into a new room. This room leads onto a think track suspended high above the race. You can either fall off here and head out a door towards where Ristar is, or you can keep going along the high track and get a nice jump boost ahead of the other racers. Both exits lead to something that can only be described as a green Egg Fleet ship, and looking to the right and upwards is where you REALLY notice that you're on the Death Egg. There are guns here that serve no harm, and the two tracks become one as you turn right into a large spiralling road heading upwards back to the finish line.

Any new quips from the announcer for Metal Sonic or the new track?

  17. The announcer says absolutely nothing about Metal Sonic or Death Egg Zone. Haters rejoice. Metal does however make the same noises he does in Winter Olympics, and Death Egg has brand new sound effects everywhere.

I've never played M&SatOWG. Are they the same sort of sounds he makes in SA2 multiplayer and Rivals?

  20. I've looked up a video of Rivals 2, yes, those sound about the same.

This video does not do the track justice, colour-wise. It's a lot darker than that. The track for one is dark green, and most of the level is made up of blacks/greys and dark greens. Most of this looks white and light blue. The pictures give a better idea of the track colours. However, this is a better way to see the track layout.
EDIT: Wow, it turns out the track IS pretty much white. My judgement of the colours was poor, there are some light greys and blues in here.
