Sonic R beta netplay

    I was messing around with the menu's and found this in Sonic R.

    It's a completely different menu than the network patch has and isn't complete either, only the TCP/IP and Modem options work(sort of) but you can't type in an IP on TCP option so you can't connect with it.

    Sega released a proper netplay after Sonic R's release(It still works, but lags dicks), but they planned on it from the beginning it seems from this.

    I seem to remember seeing some kind of network play in the PC version before. Is this a separate menu that you found with extra networking options?

    It's an incomplete beta version of the menu, some of the options don't work on it though.

    The menu itself may be some removed feature from an earlier demo or something though. Well, obviously it's a removed feature from a beta (as a result of being incomplete, presumably).
