    There are no special stages, since the emeralds are in a zone. The emerald code was still a bit broken in the release I made, but since you could only get 1 emerald without cheating, I wasn't really arsed at the time. It's all fixed now though.

    Hey I was just playing it and I was wondering about the Chemical Plant zone. Would it even exist in the past? And in the future wouldn't Sonic have shut it down?

    Well considering I haven't even done the Past OR Future art, you don't know how it's going to look. Chemical Plant isn't even going to be in my hack, since it's an original Sonic 2 level. All of the levels in my hack are getting replaced. Look at the level select screen on the other page for a full zone lineup.

    I vote "change between timezones with a button press", because it's similar to how you switch between characters in the Sonic & Knuckles level select.

    Sometime towards the end of next year, hence the "2006" in the copyright text on the title screen.

    I kind of... took your idea of "updating" the sprites and applied it to a Sonic 3 sprite, save it and zoom in in like photoshop or somethin and check it out :P

    if you like it, I'd be glad to help edit your Sonic and Shadow sprites...but that's just if you want some help ;)
