In 2020, at the age of 14, I created my first hack called Sonic: Painful World Spikes Kazio, which I submitted to the Sonic Hacking Contest 2020. At 15 in 2021, I worked on developing a 2021 demo and a series of romhacks consisting of 2-5 parts for Sonic the Hedgehog: Painful World Spikes Kaizo for the first Sonic the Hedgehog game on Sega Mega Drive. Moving on to 2023, I have become an adult and released the latest hack in the SPWSK series titled Sonic: The Return of Painful World Spikes Kaizo for the Sonic Hacking Contest 2023. By 2024, I decided to establish a theme for my kaizo hack franchise series on the forum Sonic Retro website. Sonic: Painful World Spikes Kaizo, also known as SPWSK, is a challenging hack series of the Sega Mega Drive Sonic the Hedgehog game created by me. SPWSK features complex level design that breaks traditional level design rules, introducing elements commonly seen in Kaizo hacks. Hidden blocks and fast-paced gameplay make the levels difficult to navigate. To make the game more accessible on a game console, a cheat code or Debug Mod could be created to provide players with more lives or additional assistance to overcome the challenges in SPWSK. Download You need a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive emulator to play (or real hardware)!
A giant of thought, the father of Russian romhacking and a person close to the emperor. I didn't think I'd see you here. I am your old fan. I played all your hacks and my favorite hack is Sonic 2: Maress Doss. You are very noble, sir, that you did not submit the hack to the contest to give others a chance to compete, just in the spirit of the best Russian romhackers of Sonic CIS's postmodern era. Thank you very much for this gift on a cold autumn day.
Thank you for your kind words and support. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed my hacks and that Sonic 2: Maress Doss is your favorite. I appreciate the recognition and am grateful for your continued fan support. It warms my heart to know that my work has brought joy to others. Thank you for being a part of the romhacking community and for being a fan of my creations.
