Just a random thought: I wonder if we’ll get additional concept art for the game gear games in the museum? If you could unlock concept art by playing through and beating a game gear game then I would legit be motivated to play them again.
I don't know if I'm being too nitpicky but I hear a very weird phasing effect in the GG games. It's like the Right channel is a bit delayed compared to the Left channel. And this is present in all videos released so far, so it seems to be something caused by the GG emulator they used. I'm wanting to know if Plus' extras go past Amy/GG games/bugfixes really. New museum pages would be an interesting one. I'm hoping at least that we get new missions for Amy. May as well use that new mode to its fullest potential.
Well the survey issued late last summer made mention of behind the scenes content (developer interviews maybe) as well as new animations so fingers crossed. I have a hunch there’s more here than what’s been shown so far
I wouldn't put it past Headcannon to throw in a few interesting "additional updates and enhancements" that just aren't being focused on in leu of the paid DLC additions. We already know they're slightly tweaking SCD's level design for Knuckles, I could see some other smaller but appreciated garnishes to make the games feel more unified, or at least the damn Drop Dash de-janked. On Sonic Team's end, a few extra Missions to accommodate both Amy's addition and Knuckles' SCD addition would make sense, though I wonder if that could've been mentioned already as part of the Plus DLC the new characters are a part of. Or not, seems a bit small compared to the three big things. Same with the survey's extra museum content and new co-op modes (presumably 4P modes), but you never know. To put out an insane prediction, maybe new animations meant Tails, Knuckles and Amy get their own intros and endings for SCD now. It would match nicely with Tails getting his own intro in S3&K, just saying. To put out a boring prediction, I'm betting Headcannon with their Retro Engine wizardry will make it so all four games have three jump buttons again, not just two jump buttons because the third was made the Super Transformation button because that's the only way Sonic Team knew how to incorporate that. Yeah I've heard people bring that up, if it's not something caused by a consistent video export error or something, I'd too hope it was something you could toggle or was at least patched before updates wrapped up. Though considering the one filter setting toggleable in the options just makes the image even blurrier, and suggestions that they still haven't fixed S3&K's audio quality or the pixel scaler blur, wouldn't be too surprising if Sega dropped the ball on these aspects they'd be controlling instead of Headcannon. Also talked to someone on Twitter about the Game Gear games apparently being Pixel Perfect instead of 4:3, so there's also that. The Playstation store is also omitted, so I guess whoever was writing the list wasn't paying attention.

I think you're misreading it. They're saying the ones with asterisks only get digital versions. Sega typically does not release physical versions of their games on Xbox in Asia because Xbox isn't popular there. Not surprising.
The Game Gear games added to story mode. New opening/ending cutscenes for each one. Yes, all 12 of them. Even the stupid ones. Do it, Sega, you cowards. I want a cutscene explaining how Robotnik gets his DIC look for Mean Bean Machine only to drop it.

Story mode is already impossible to complete for the kids who don't expect their rings to suddenly be ripped from their grasp in Sonic 2. I suppose shoving the GG games in there might set more precedent for that bad decision.
We can watch Knuckles go from Sonic's friend back to being tricked by Eggman again. The story will oddly start with Tails' Adventure and end on Sonic Blast of all things. Though unironically, I guess you could consider the ending of Triple Trouble to nicely transition into Knuckles' role in Blast, maybe?
ok what I really want is knuckes s3k story added as an epilogue maybe with a cutscene with him moving the master emerald to the adventure shrine.
Although Mania adventures does show Knuckles in the process of moving the emerald elsewhere. It looked like Eggman ruined hidden Palace in Mania with mining equipment
