Sonic one betaa?

heh....I was never fooled....I just thought I'd play along! :D (SHOT)

 

I don't, it was just too damn real looking for me not to belive it.

 

Heh. This kind of hoaxes happen once in a while, get used to it and don't jump the gun. And no, I wasn't in on it, except I didn't blow Rika's cover. (I saw they have the same IP.)

I guess all of you are now convinced that pictures alone, no matter how good they are, can never prove a beta is real... we must have the ROM. But then again, the ROM could've been hacked. On the other hand, it's easy to prove it's fake because it's easy for the hoaxer to mess up something.

Well, this topic is a good lesson. It will be archived when it dies down a bit.

 

I remember one hoax back in 2000 (at the anyboard). A guy used tv out like these hoaxes, and posted a picture of Dust Hill Zone. Even though it wasn't the best hoax, many people believed in it. The letter boxes was missing too, so I didn't believe it.

 

Well congradulations Eli White for stumping most of us. This should be entitled "The Great Sonic 1 Alpha Hoax" event [once archived of course]. I was on the right direction in the beginning, but I was fooled by the other screenshots. Maybe I shouldn't get involved in this types of situation anymore just to be on the safe side.

 

Myeh, this goes on level with the Arianna Triforce hoax. Yes, I'm a Zelda freak more so then a Sonic one, which is actually kinda scary. For those who don't know what tha Arianna Triforce hoax is, here:

It's funny after all the evidence L0st, Fuzzbuzz, and I posted, you guys STILL didn't belive that this was a hoax.

 

Next time someone decides to post a deliberate hoax on this forum, be sure to recruit me as one of the insiders. I hate being kept out of the loop. <_<

Excellent, excellent hoax. Certainly had me fooled, as you can tell. :D So close, yet so far away, though. One day, we'll get our hands on a Sonic 1 beta, just you see...

Perhaps you should try and improve your hoaxes, yes? You know, something better than those horribly basic ones that you create?

Yeah, those are just hoaxes I started out making, since I'm still a beginner. I just learned how to hoax some time in Summer 2002, and I continued to make those kinds for a while. I still need practice, and plus I only have MS Paint, so it won't be very easy for me to make hoaxes like that.

 

These were made using only MS paint.

 

Oh, didn't know that. I thought it would be something like Photoshop. Well, I guess I definately need more practice in hoaxing...

This was a great hoax.

And, you shouldn't look at everything with optimism, you need to look everything with Skepticism. Don't take people's word for gold.
