None at the moment, sadly...not skilled enough yet!
I have a fairly large MP3 collection for Sonic, but unless there is a concrete server, I think it would be a bit hard to upload all 6.5 GB + of it. Let's all work together to make it a complete sonic music archive

4shared sounds good for me for making a collection:

    http://www.4shared.com/dir/5165266/815a05ce/Sonic_R.html
    http://www.4shared.com/dir/4463252/7ecb57c...c_Next-Gen.html
    http://www.4shared.com/dir/4576015/46a5d92...ro_Gravity.html
    http://www.4shared.com/dir/997952/554134a1/sonic_3.html
    http://www.4shared.com/dir/4330749/31996dcb/Sonic_OVA.html

These five links were first for me when I type 'site:http://www.4shared.com "your virtual drive" + Sonic mp3' in Google. Is 4shared good for making a collection for each Sonic game? We can give then one article that would contain all the collection pages, in result it will make one biggest Sonic arranged collection.

4shared does not agree with some particular regions. The Powersonic.com.br subsite "Music Plant", which is using 4shared as well, would be quite an example.

Damn about the archive going, never really got a chance to look at it myself. =[

Anyone happen to have a FLAC of the extended version of Cosmic Eternity by any chance?

If you are talking about Cosmic Eternity - Believe in Yourself, I have an mp3 of the 3:36 version from the 10th Anniversary CD (the one on the wiki is 3:00 iirc).
You don't need a FLAC, feel free to get the mp3 here.

Yeah, that Cosmic Eternity. Sorry for not making it clearer.

And thanks for the link, but I'm intrigued as to why you think I won't need a FLAC. AFAIK a lot of people praise FLAC for keeping the quality as CD-perfect as possible. I take it you're not really fussed? :)

FLAC is just an useless waste of space. MP3 is fine enough.

I think it would be more useful to put up mp3s in the archive so that people can put the songs on their Ipods. FLAC sounds better, but the majority of people (including myself) won't have a clue what to do with it and probably won't notice much of a quality difference. Maybe we could have a FLAC and an mp3 for each file?

I'd let you use my hfs server, but unfortunately people would need Hamachi to get on it :| Not only does Static IP not help, it nerfs my connection.

SeanieB hasn't seemed to have done anything recently. I have his space set up, would you guys want to help out and start uploading some music?

You can help out by uploading to ftp://smarc:[email protected]/public_html (copy paste into windows explorer for best results)

EDIT: Link will work again soon

Ok, I'm uploading my stuff now.

Semi off-topic: Can anybody who has an iso of Sonic Next Gen for PS3 check what format its music is in? It won't be xma and might be some nicer format.

Hi, can you please use a different upload account, as well as anyone else that wants to upload can use...

Someone decided to delete the media folder. Everything is gone, the account is closed.

    Seriously. What the fuck?

I'll note, that for the new FTP info, you WILL need to use a client, rather than windows explorer =P

I honestly don't know who still uses Windows Explorer as an FTP client (I use FileZilla personally.) Also, I think we can update the first post since we have some hosting again.

Hey, it's built in. I don't see the point in using a client when I've already got what I need, it's just more clutter. =P

Tell me that you use Windows Media Player to encode and tag your mp3s, and I'll add you to my ignore list :P

The Winamp database is kinda lame and doesn't really work well for ripped music, that's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Couldn't connect through SSH Secure Shell for some reason, but FileZilla or whatever worked reasonably well.
