before the thread ends i just wanna say i really liked the shadow the hedgehog and maria movie. there was some other stuff too i guess

 

I was surprised when Black Doom spoke to Shadow atop the bridge.

 

It was a cool detail that they made Sonic’s dad basically just be the “ugly Sonic” design from the first movie

 

I really don't like that they try to hide it now. I'll admit that it worked for Infinity War - the unhappy ending hits harder if you're unaware (or forgot), but it still tells a complete story. It's a fine movie on its own. But when something is clearly just the first half of a narrative, it's not fun for that fact to be a surprise. Vaguely recalling partway through Across the Spider-Verse that it was a two-parter and reaching the cliffhanger was disappointing. Getting hit with an unexpected "Part 1" in the Wicked title after I've bought the tickets and sat down was frustrating (though I had to leave that one early, so I can't speak to its ending yet). I get the marketing reasons, but it feels like false advertising.

Bringing it back to Sonic, uh... Maybe the eventual Blu-Ray could have a bonus short titled "Episode: Metal"?

 

I genuily forgot I have posted that, I think my memmories' not working well.

But since I'm talking about this again, I really hope they'll play with Metal Sonic's pupils to show his expression, like they did in Sonic Mania Adventures. But since Tyson will be likely involved with Sonic 4, I assume this will be the case.

 

given how ostentatious Eggman is, I don't think "twitch streamer" is that far of a stretch, particularly given how hijacking all the screens in SA2 is how he decided to threaten people instead of just blowing the moon up without saying anything but an ominous demand to world leaders. The dude loves being perceived. The guy tried to kidnap a sovereign in full view of her public subjects at a festival even though it probably would have been more effective to attempt it at literally any other time.

Watched it last night.

It was great fun. Keanu Reeves as shadow is just brilliant.

As an adaptation of sonic adventure 2 I really loved it.

Overall, I’ve loved watching the sonic films. Yes, they’re not Oscar worthy, but I defy you to tell me you didn’t fist pump when “live and learn” started playing.

Overall what a triumph sonic 3 is.

Who’d have thought we’d get here after “ugly sonic” - looking forward to the sonic cd inspired Sonic 4 now!
