We already had enough of Sonic Spinball… I'm going to guess Sonic Labyrinth for the first day. I have absolutely no guess for the second day. More Crackers seems a bit out of reach for us.
Part of me wants to say 1990 Tokyo Toy Show Sonic 1 tech demo, but I think we all know that'll only ever be a pipe-dream. Eagerly awaiting what will be shown off, regardless.
Given the timeframe covered so far, I'm expecting Spinball. Maybe a build with the Robotnik between-level cutscenes?
So it's gotta be a genesis/megadrive game today, and a pretty significant one in either quality or quantity since it's split into two days, so... Sonic Jam 6?
Oh man I hope we're getting the Sonic 3 prototypes with the Sonic 2 sprites! It would be cool to see any Sonic 1 prototypes, but I highly doubt it. Since it is split up, it's gotta be big! I'm going to try and remember to join in on the live stream today and tomorrow.
Jeez, a lot of people in this thread have pretty lofty expectations - some of the things people are speculating would pretty much be the Holy Grail as far as protos are concerned! Don't get me wrong - I'd be as happy as anyone if even one of them actually turned out to have been found, but realistically, if you go in with such overly high hopes then no matter what awesome and interesting stuff drx has dug up you'll almost certainly disappoint yourself. Me? I'm just going to keep an open mind and enjoy whatever the next lot of findings turn out to be! = )
Good point, IMO, McAleeCh. I personally am trying to keep myself from pondering this too much just to avoid lofty expectations - but the fact that it is gonna be both Saturday and Sunday, I admit, makes the temptation a bit harder to avoid (versus the Saturday releases that happened the past 3 weeks).
If this does indeed exist, would it be possible that a proto that early in development would have some of the (supposedly) cut MJ music within? Very good and valid point. My guess was meant to be taken as a joke, for the record.
Oh I'm sure my desire is a bit lofty. But I'd love it to be true. Also are we only dealing with like 90s betas? Or is there a chance we might see something else? An Adventure prototype? 06? Either way I'm interested.
