Another question, this probably is gonna get done in some form I guess but wouldn't it be better for the ball to bounce to the right when defeated, breaking through a wall which'd get to the true boss?

 

It looks like the screen stops scrolling when you get to the 'pit' to get to the second boss, so you have to fall down the pit to continue the level.

Although I can't be 100% sure on that.

 

With all these potential features, will this game still be able to run on Sega CD hardware? If this goes through to completion, I may just consider buying one just for this... and Sonic CD.

Just a question I have in mind: Will the Mystic Maze zone work like the Hyrdocity one, you know about the way the water layer appears depending on your position? I don't really like when you're underwater and you can still see the sky and the palace in the background.

 

It's nice to hear this hack is still being worked on. I was wondering if it is possible to play the hack (once it is finished) on unmodified hardware. In this case, it would be a Japanese Mega CD 2. If it is possible,
what type of cd would I burn it on? Plus, this would not interfere with any of my other game saves, such as the one have for Sonic CD, right?

Nah, I don't think it's awesome. I like one, which is still in. It makes it real. I just ignore, that the island is underwater, I don't mind about that.
But it's the project's staff decision. :P

 

YES! Megamix is back. It took me a while to understand you ported that boss from FBZ. I really hope your team wont have a boss for MBZ and a new boss for DFZ because I have ideas for bosses for these zones and if I post these ideas, you or Malevolence might steal it because you have the ability to implement (did I spell it right?) them.

 

Nice to see Megamix return. The new Sunny Shores boss is epic. :B

Although, I still stand my ground. This game is a sausage fest and needs a female character.

Nothing. It's always enabled, which is why it gave that sound effect when it was attempted to be changed in the video.

ALSO:

Dare you to put 256 colors on screen at once!

 

You can have up to 1408 different colours, you know =P

 

Put 1409 different colours on the screen? Clearly that's impossible.
