Oh man, that stage select theme. They'd better do what Freedom Planet did and make the OST be DLC on Steam (as well as other places, obviously). I'd pay another $10-15 just to have the soundtrack. Tee Lopes' music is amazing.
While I do really like the stage select theme, I personally am not in love with it. Seems a little safe to me, not enough pomp! But I totally get why a lot of you love it, and that's great too. Also, how do we know that this music is merely placeholder music for the demo. The finished game my have a very different select/options portion. On the topic of the full soundtrack, I could not be more enthusiastic. To this day I still am constantly playing classic Sonic music. Now I'll be able to expand that library by like 20%. Just FANTASTIC! If Sega wanted to really clean up with this game, they could sell a pre-order bundle set of a physical release, a Genesis style controller, a soundtrack, game manual, Banik poster, a "the making of" backstory DVD, etc. I would pay big money for that swag.

If the collectors edition is all the Taxman engine Sonic games on physical media then yes I would pay full retail price for it. It's a shame S3&K isn't remade at this point.

Just voted. A collectors edition "physical" release would be awesome. If we could have one which includes the remasters it would be one of the best collections of Sonic games - in terms of quality - in a very long time.

If we're talking about a PC collector's edition, yes. And I haven't bought a Sonic game in a long time.
Heck yeah I would! I regret not getting the Generations Collectors Edition. I won't make that mistake again!
Awesome that Sega are listening. We should all show our support to make this happen. I think Mania has enough hype that a CE would be successful for Sega.
So here are the poll results so far (just voted and selected the Shut Up and Take My Rings option): So that's 31% for Yes and 48% for an "Excited Yes" calculating to 79% or rather ~80% in favour of a CE for Sonic Mania. I'd say those are good results!
