Glad you are feeling better! I think it's extremely gracious to even respond to that. I probably wouldn't have :v: So much speculation about nothing...you're probably having quite the time reading some of the nonsense here! Keep doing what you're doing. We all appreciate your hard work! I'm going to work on tweaking another Studiopolis or Mirage Saloon remix....
When remixing music for the CD stages I wonder if Tee Lopes will take inspiration from the Temporal Duality album (remix of the Jp Sountrack) and/or the Sonic the Hedgehog Boom: The Music from Sonic CD and Sonic Spinball album? Would be nice to have a nod to some of these remixes. I honestly wouldn't mind if the re-imagined CD stages remix only Jp or NA music. I like both soundtracks, although I generally favor the Jp one. The NA's main strength was the "Good/Bad future" music, whereas the Jp "present" tracks are amazing, as is the "past" music. If you can time travel in the CD stages in Mania then they could use the Jp music for one time zone and NA tracks for another.
Would be great if Tee was to use some of the original instruments / samples of the early 90s Korg M1 / Roland D50 in his soundtrack - these synths where THE sound of that era! Would be cool to see Tee post on here and give us some info on his process.

Yep. It was released last summer as a limited edition print through Amazon. It was only about for a month, so you've missed your chance of you want one. Some people are selling copies though, there the print quality is much lower.
Spoiler Canadian friend shared this on Discord, and I hope this isn't the final price of the Switch port. The game looks rad as heck but not "more expensive than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or even its own collector's edition on PC" rad. :specialed:
Haha. Obviously a placeholder, but interesting to see it pop up in a store in yet another country. And dude, this game is worth 10 Mario Kart 8 Deluxes.
That's probably the standard ludicrous Canadian price for the collectors edition. Games cost an arm and a leg here.
I love the shirt...but what I love more is the fact his nipples are cutting through Mike's dress shirt. "Why do you have sexy nipples, Dr. Eggman?"
According to this, SEGA gave the team access to cut levels from previous games, with the idea of redesign them to work with Sonic Mania. INB4 GENOCIDE CITY CONFIRMED. They also discuss how the franchise goes after Mania and Forces. Basically, Sonic Mania is a game for the fans, and Forces is a "Sonic game for everyone". Meh, more of the same.
I don't think what that Sega Europe rep is saying should be fully trusted, seeing how he's mistaking the remasters for "modded ROM versions" and says that "Tee Lopez" worked on those as well. It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't actually well informed enough to talk about Sonic Mania and just talked out of his ass.
um...excuse me? Did you not take a good look at Desert Dazzle and see what they did to it? Mirage Saloon happened.
It's amazing, but taking it further and loading the game with Wood Zone, Hidden Palace, R2 and whatever else would feel a bit... meh. But I'm pretty sure that Taxman came along and said that Mirage Saloon is the only sort of scrapped stage in the game anyway.
R2? As in the old R2? How can they when those graphics were lost years ago and only part of the boss and badniks survive.
