A bug that I noticed at 12:04:18. It appears that Knuckles doesn't descend in his glide when he is against a ceiling.
Yeah. I noticed that during his initial reveal on kinda funny games in studiopolis. They've definitely got a few more bucks to iron out.
...Hadn't thought of this before, but it would kinda make sense to swap the chuckle animation with the end of act... "jacking" motion.
Seeing Knuckles "chuckle" at the end of every act would be jarring. The current animation is alright though. It just needs to not be animated.
I like that Knuckles still chuckles like he did in 3&K. Would be cool if he automatically chuckles after defeating every boss-fight! Knuckles animation when he climbs down a wall also looks neat. It's as if he's sliding down very slowly. Great stuff. http://i.imgur.com/adTUQ4r.gif
I certainly didn't find it "jarring" when he kept laughing most of the times you found him in Sonic 3...
The context was different. That was him explicitly pulling pranks and other sneaky moves. But for him to chuckle every time he reaches a goal? Nah. I'd rather he flex his muscles.
In a continuous loop? No I'm not sold. Of course it's just a videogame and I probably shouldn't look too much into it but Knuckles just looks like an idiot just standing there and laughing for no reason where no one is even around. Dunno just looks stupid.
Well, maybe that's the point. =P I guess it makes more sense to have him do it after every few seconds that he's left idling? |=\ In before somebody sees us chatting about this small detail and starts LOL SONIC FANS BITCH AND HATE EVERYTHING because no.
Nah, we absolutely go through this song-and-dance for every minute detail. The sort of thing we're wont to do when we're relatively starved for new information, I guess.
I'm just happy to see him chuckling again. I've always missed that about him. It would be funny if he just chuckled after every time he wrecks Eggman's shit. It would do justice to him being fucked with in S3&K.
That is a fair point. If he would cycle through these motions every few seconds while idling, that would look alright, but as it is he's adjusting his wrist, then going straight into a few punches, then laughing. If these three motions were broken up by a few seconds, it would look more natural. Similar to how Sonic would continuously tap his foot, but only look at the player every few seconds or so.
I've noticed they are starting to be suspiciously secretive about Green Hill zone since the new build with Mirage Saloon in it. Aaron on the stream was like "You've all seen enough green hill alreday"when the chat was voting for it to be played. Maybe they don't want to show Knuckles alternative route yet or maybe there has been some changes to it? Have yet to see any gameplay of Tails, Knuckles or Sonic & Tails in Green hill yet, anyway.
It's been confirmed that we're getting Sonic CD stages, or at least a single stage... Do you think the stages will be set in the Good Future, Present or do you think the stage will have a time travel gimmick needed to progress through it? Having time travel would be a pretty awesome nod to the game the level came from, but I guess it may be a gimmick that's a tad too big and different from the core gameplay...
If a Sonic CD stage made it in, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens to be Stardust Speedway in its bad future version, though they could implement the time travel gimmicks during both acts to interact directly with the level in all its versions. Aside Stardust Speedway, I don't think the other zones were memorable enough to be featured in, do they?
