Contact any Wiki Sysop, Moderator or Admin - they can use the Local Upload function to upload files larger than that.
How much bigger than 5 megabytes is it? If it's mere kilobytes bigger (e.g. 5.01MB or something) you are likely to get within the limit by using a more efficient compression method.
Yes, but it's also not a good idea to have our database littered with split RARs, especially when the limit is only 0.25MB under your file size. Just get a Sysop or admin to upload it for you.
I sent an email yesterday, no reply yet. I can't seem to upload it ANYWHERE... Can you advertise a good (cough*hotlinking*cough*) upload host (not mediafire (FAIL) and not host-a please) for temporary hosting. Oh and 7-zip is only 1 0.01th of a mb better
Ah exellent! Thanks Overbound. Sent. Soon people will be able to create data files that you can use to play your own levels! 'And my master plan to take over the world will be falling into place'
Just took it for a quick little spin. Nifty, bust as yet too limited to actually do stuff with, naturally. Also, I hate that Game Maker engine's physics with a fiery passion. I'm also getting some error message whenever I open it about there not being any data for Tails or something? I notice that there's a file with Knuckles's name in it, but Knuckles himself is locked in the engine's character selection...
___________________________________________ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Trigger Event: <Deleted> for object objWhoPlayer: Error, no character name was found on 'Tails.ANIM' I made a level, went to test it, and this popped up. I do like the copy function for the errors. EDIT: Wait...I can't open my level after I save it?! D:
What about them don't you like? Is its stuff that's easily editable? I've done some editing such as adding to the acceleration while in the air that were missing in original engine, I've also changed his speed settings some. Is it stuff like that that bothers you or is it deeps such as you don't like the way the actual 360 movement is done? Do you feel that the MMF engine Sonic Worlds does a better job?
Acceleration and deceleration feel all wonky. Can't really get much more descriptive than that. I've never tried that other engine, so I can't really compare.
RE-Uploaded! It was missing the 'Tails.ANIM' file.. Ignore that error, it still works. It's a GM bugger-up. There isn't even a trigger event in that object. And the load function in the maker is... incomplete.. This is a sub release. More of a testing situation. But you can play as Tails! Although I need to fix the sprites. Anyway, constructive critisism and YSD(You should do...)'s please.
