    No, no one else may suffer the horror. In the disposal. Or I'll keep it as a grim reminder as to why I stopped blindly buying Sonic games after Sonic 06, because this shit happens.

    Oh and yay a patch. Hope they fixed the laziness that is all of Super Sonic (nerfing that owl beam in Silent Forest 2 would be appreciated as well).

    I played the Wii U demo at Walmart. It kinda sucked, to be honest. Oh well.

    Funny, I played the Wii U demo at my brother's house, and I rather liked it. Don't get more wrong, I still am not a fan of the aesthetics, and all the speed I seem to get feels automated with the spring transitions and autorun sections. But, I can at least say Windy Hill Act Zone 1 did make me enjoy looking for alternative paths and even a little backtracking. The level I played from the game isn't as exhilarating as any of the Generations zones, but it certainly isn't as sawtoothed, which is a welcome change after the Boost trilogy.

    Oh god, I'm glad they're patching this....I've never encountered the bug myself, but I watched the video for a few seconds and I felt very dizzy and sick, now I'm afraid of going into the second pinball table because I don't think I can handle finding it, I might have a seizure.

    I'm not an epileptic person, but sometimes bright lights and colors make me feel ill.

    So I ended up getting the 3DS version. Just kidding, got A Link Between Worlds instead. Seems like the right choice.

    Think I'm just gonna skip the 3DS game for good since the level design just gets dumb from what I've seen. It's a shame since rolling around and doing fancy parkour shit was pretty fun in those demo stages.

    I would like to give the Wii U version a whirl eventually, but I'm still not in much of a rush to pick up the console. I will say this though (and it's a bit of a tangent)- I really hope that future games just ditch this Colors-style storytelling. Cutscenes are consistently really cringeworthy with the only silver lining being classic Sonic's mannerisms in Generations. Voices can't really be helped at this point, but it would be nice to have a Sonic game where I didn't want to mute it every time someone talks that isn't Eggman.

    Imagine a genuinely witty Sonic. Pipe dream, I know. Hell, something unvoiced like Night of the Werehog would work too.

    Hey guys, think you could help me with something? I'm trying to whip up some alternate album artwork because the one that was released was someone just copy and pasting the deadly 6 about 17 times each. I've been trying to look for this specific render but I can't find one of any good quality, and Google just throws a ton of fan art and softcore Zeena porn my way. Any help would be appreciated.

    I literally just deleted all of the raw Lost World stuff I had yesterday. I think if you go through the front page's archives you should find it in there!!

    It has just ocurred to me that the reason the music doesn't stop and restarts is to make the frequent deaths seem less repetitive O.o!

    It just makes the whole process of dying and restarting a more continuous. SatSR and SatBK employed the same technique.

    Wasn't it Polygon Jim that told us that Colors is basically a heavily modified SATBK which is a modified SATSR? So if Lost World isn't built on the Generations/Unleashed engine it may be a modified Colors engine which means this game is related to the storybook games.

    Crazy ain't it?

    That's what the storybook series is and has been, though, hasn't it? A bit more whimsical (good on them for recognizing this was a good idea for Sonic in general, because Christ), way more experimental, and as a result generally shorter? I mean, its basically Sega's Wario Land , except the only game starring a Sonic sidekick that's all that great is Tails Adventures so it has to feature Sonic here too

    So has anyone tried the multiplayer? I mainly want to know if it's all one shared screen like Colors or one screen on the TV, and one on the Wii U pad.

    Yeah, one player gets the Gamepad screen, and the other the TV.

    The only downside to this, is the framerate gets cut down to 30FPS.

    So I just had the opportunity to play the demo for the first time at the Nintendo station in the Florida Mall... and to be frank, it felt like how ya'll described it. I didn't realize almost every move required a different button. There's nothing I can say that hasn't been said. I dodged a bullet NOT buying a Wii U before Lost World came out...

    I've played the multiplayer, and it's pretty fun. It's a bit annoying that Sonic is the only playable character, especially when you consider that SA2:Battle's multiplayer was so popular due to the character roster.

    It's awesome to have the two screens. It's the one time in Lost World where the Gamepad really works.

    The Buzz Bomber artwork is just amazing, I will give this game the fact that the badniks have such character to them.
