Alright, thanks for clearing it up. Sorry for being paranoid and things like that, this is just my first time submitting to this contest and I have a tendency to make sure everything makes sense to me before I do something to make a fool out of myself and whatnot. (I guess it's too late for that.) And I think you misunderstood me. Sonic Generations has very specific limits as far as stages go, with the limits for stage replacements having to be worked around the limited amount of level slots to replace. Therefore, if a project aims to port more than, say, nine new levels into the engine, they do technically have to be split up into separate mods. My question wasn't as nonsensical as it might've seemed. edit: As much as I really should be leaving this alone, I just want to say that I'd rather not be reproached simply for asking clarification of rules that I read thoroughly several times. Yes, they are very open-ended, so that means additional questions might be necessary on a case-by-case basis; especially in the context of Sonic Generations, because the same rules cannot be applied in exactly the same context between a 199x 16-bit ROM hack and a 2011 PC game mod. Since the hacking contest has mostly been based around the former this whole time, I think it's perfectly fair to ask that the rules regarding the latter specifically be explored and clarified. Anxiety-fueled questions aside, please don't treat me like I don't know what I'm doing or saying. Thank you. edit 2: I really am a ball of paranoia. Regardless of any of this, I hope there are no hard feelings. I don't want to create any tension when there's already enough putting pressure on me. Now, I'm gonna take a nap before I make more of an ass out of myself. See ya guys later, and good luck to everyone.
