    So I'm having recent trouble with the Unleashed Project. Before, it would run at a steady 60FPS, just like Generations would. Now, when I load up the game, the hub world is at 30FPS and the level I tested, Rooftop Run, is at 45 FPS with dips. This has just recently happened. I got a temporary fix yesterday by just uninstalling and then reinstalling the mod this time. Anyone know what could be happening? I just tested vanilla Generations and it was 60FPS.

    That's definitely odd. Are you sure you weren't using the low-end mod before? If not, maybe your computer has slowed down since then. Try de-fragging it maybe?

    Was just about to edit my post. As it turns out, apparently I had the low-end mod checked even though I don't remember it ever being there, if it was I must have just not realized it. So I unchecked it and ran the mod, and I got 60 FPS again. So it was just me being dumb. Sorry about that.
    EDIT: Haha, so adding the FxPipelineShader causes it to go back to 30 FPS, when it didn't before? So I'm just doing a defrag just in case. Although, I don't know that the FxPipelineShader does.

    FxPipeline utilizes a leftover renderer to restore a lot of missing effects from Unleashed, making a lot of levels (namely Cool Edge) look better. I'd recommend using it, especially because in my experience it tends to improve performance. As for why the low-end mod is causing problems, that's a confusing one; obviously it's kind of intended to do the opposite.

    Since I'm not entirely sure of the requirements for the Unleashed Project, I'm posting mine. I'm sure I should be good either way, but I just want to double check. It seems weird that it's not working now when it was fine before.

    I don't think official requirements were ever written out for Unleashed Project, outside of "higher than Sonic Generations." I'm not too savvy on the technical side, so you may want to message Dario here on Retro about it.

    Those specs are quite similar to my PC before I upgraded, except I was using Intel for the processor. No real reason spec-wise it should lag as I ran it consistently. Something I noticed with Generations is that it tends to like not having much load on the processor at all, where you can get by maxing out the game 1080p on an average video card. Generations does this with me when I have something like a bot running in the background even if my GPU isn't even breaking a sweat. Only advice I can give is to check your CPU usage while in game? It's not likely, but it's the closest thing to this situation I know of.
