Probably a glitch but:

 

Doesn't he have a homing attack in the console version, that's simply locked off by default? With the shop and upgrades, I see no reason why it couldn't be something optional.

 

Any luck getting that 3DS conference gameplay ripped yet?

I'm hoping it'll get changed. I can imagine that being the classic theme, but as many other know this pretty much means we're doing the classic level layout, with the classic theme and nothing of value has changed. I wouldn't be surprised if we do get a modern version of the level though (I think someone rip'd it from ComicCon's 3DS booth with a 3.5mm jack?)

I can't be the only person to have noticed his legs have grown back to modern size again. I understand that it may be problematic to get the same running animation a kin to the console versions, but surely making it look really dragged back and such isn't... such a good look in my opinion.

Yay more new versions of songs that I forgot were actually not to be to listen to. I want to say "I hope it's touch contolled!" similar to Rush games, but I know it won't. And it'll be horrible to play. Just like in Heroes.

What. A. Shame. That Stardust Speedway doesn't make it's way to 3DS. Least to say that I do enjoy my races with AI controlled characters, as long as they're an actual challenge (not some dumb ass AI that gives up the moment you're a quarter of the way ahead of them or what not) and/or that they're not cheap/cheating. But I guess that's pretty hard to implement.

iirc there wasn't any. It was all Mario and Sonic at the 2012 London Olympics.

 

No I mean the site footage. I just call it conference footage since its on the 3DS conference site.

 

I still believe the Modern and Classic Mushroom Hill themes were swapped on accident somehow. Ya'd think Dimps woulda noticed by now, though.

 

Remember, they replaced the Big Arm music with the proper music eventually. I'm sure the same applies here. Why is this so hard to believe?

They're not going to use the Genesis tune for Modern Sonic. That'd just be downright lazy, and while I know this is Dimps we're talking about, they did bother remaking the Sonic 3 end of act song, the Sonic 3 1 up song, and the Sonic 3 game over song in the form of orchestral masterpieces. So just to get it through your skulls, THEY. WILL. REPLACE. THE. SONG.

Christ people.

There's another 3 slots there. Shadow and Silver are likely to take the last 2, but who will take the one after Eggman?

 

Classic Eggman is already confirmed and is 100% in the game. That's why we have a toy of him, that's why he's in the big arms boss battle, that's why he's on the sign post. He's. In. The. Game. Why they haven't released a render of him? Probably because his character is more central to the story than we think, and they're waiting till they give more deets on the story.

 

The two Sonic's and two Tails are probably shown together because they are working together. Maybe the two Eggmans aren't working with each other, but trying to out-do each other, thus making them separate enemies?

 

The first one is Tails, the second one is Milse. OK, I get it now.

 

I think it's the Time Eater since the leaked filename is "slide_04.png".
I wonder if someone managed to leak slide_06 and _07 (if they've been up at all).

 

They've not. I checked while saving the Time Eater one.

 

Time Eater is in the fourth slot.

Well, it's very clear they will not show there everybody. The party goers don't seem to go into the character list.
Only main characters and rivals.
Classic Eggman, with the info we have, will probably show up only in Sky Sanctuary/Death Egg and he's not important to the overall plot for the looks of it.

 

How do you miss a typo like this?

I vote that Milse is now what we call the Tails from that Pakistani McDonald's ad.

 

Wow! The Time Eater turned out to be that thing with teeth in the background of that early Classic artwork. Nice!

 

I noticed that as well. Seems the pieces are all coming together. But honestly, the first thing that picture reminded me of was "The Guy" from the band Disturbed. Either way, I'm still really hyped about this game. November where are you???
