I've learned not to take that man seriously for anything. he trolls SEGA and SEGA gives him swag in return, shame he can't do this over his own blog instead of just bringing down destructoid as a whole.

So that trick bounce thing, can it be possiable it was left over from classic's homing attack code?

Maybe? I'm wondering how Classic's homing attack would have went anyway. Would it have been a power up item like in 3D Blast? I think that'd be kinda neat. I can see why they got rid of it, though, obviously. Oof. Can't imagine the shitstorm that would have occurred over that...

Also Jim Sterling is a professional troll, and should largely (haha get it? cuz he's- yeah.) be ignored.

EDIT: Oh and MegaDash? Your link appears to be dead, bro.

Awesome. Now I can be the ultimate maverick by setting my custom soundtrack to play Classic City Escape in Classic Green Hill. Glorious.

    @ MegaDash & Nomad:

Why is it that every link to Jim Sterling I come across is dead by the time I get there? I think God is trying to tell me something.

Wow, that actually sounds a bit better in it's true quality.

Not a fan of the stupid autotune but that's a dangerously catchy track.

For one thing, you can actually make out the aspects that are trying to sound "classic-y" now. I do have trouble getting it out of my head, too.

Although, now I can hear bits of autotune all over the place. Not that it's bad, but I was under the impression only the Endless Mine bit used it.

I feel the autotune was used well and in a clever way.

So do I. Autotune isn't bad just because it's autotune. It's just that certain songs and artists use it carelessly or otherwise just use too damn much of it.

I don't mind it too much, though it does keep reminding me of this. (which isn't a bad thing).

  15. I don't know if what I'm about to say is against what people think, but I really think that song is pretty good, just the singing ruins it, I'd be much more interested if they used Instrumentals for Classic Sonic as the arrangement itself you can tell it's City Escape, just soo much more upbeat and happy and classic style.

Sorry to ask, but having been absent the past week or two, did I miss a confirmation for the supposed PC version somewhere?

EDIT: Nevermind, did some hunting. Very very awesome!

"Sonic generations beta" appeared in the steam registery, early listing leak for pc, game listing it with a price only makes it stronger.

Bit late on this reply, but it's not dead. It's this forum's stupid double-hyphen-changing thing at work again. Just change the — to -- (or even just one -) and it'll work fine.

Why has that not been fixed yet?
