In case no one pointed it out yet, but the demo is up on the US XBLA and PSN store. Also, I noticed that the title for the demo on PSN is Green Hill Zone Demo #1, so this confirms that there will be more demos on the way.

From that code it would explain why they found a Knuckles model. He's the VS RIVAL in Green Hill. I guess you VS RIVAL in each zone and then you unlock the character to play as maybe?

I need this list to be interpreted more. What's all this vs and coop stuff they're talking about? If it means I can finally play as these characters the way they were meant to be played as I'll be happy, but if it means "LOL WE'LL SHOW OFF HOW THESE CHARACTERS SHOULD HAVE PLAYED ALL ALONG BUT NEVER LET YOU PLAY AS THEM," I'll be pissed off beyond all reason. I've wanted Knuckles to play normal again since the series went 3D.

 

So I just tried doing UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, A + Start at the title screen in an attempt to unlock the modern stage. That's about as far as I go into "hacking" demo's for extra content.

 

"Cambiar de personaje". That's "Switch characters".

Hey, Knuckles' name is cut off in there (it says "Nakkuru" instead of "Nakkuruzu")

 

Is that the Werehog's life icon? Don't tell me the Werehog is in this game too.

'vs Sonic Ghost'.. So I guess you get to try and beat your past self/score like some other games?

 

It's mentioned as a mission; I'd guess it's a pre-programmed ghost. Like the Cosmic races in the Super Mario Galaxy games.

 

Well, Egg Dragoon IS listed as a boss, so it looks like what could be the final showdown with Eggman will be as the werehog.
Probably not the news you were looking for, but what do you expect?

 

Wait, is that + - SEGA Genesis   listed among the levels? Cool... and intriguing.

 

Yea, apparently a Genesis emulator is in the game. As if we really needed that.

 

Like Jim mentioned, for some reason there's a Megadrive emulator in here. There's a list of Sonic 1 zone names with acts too.

From looking at the executable, they plan on having a Collection Room.

The emulator in question seems to be similar to the way the Digital Eclipse does it. So expect bad sound emulation whatever they're going to do with it. lol

 

Where can I find a higher (1080p ?) version of this, did he upload one?
