Sonic Generations Megathread II

So Planet Wisp Act 1 actually makes the game feel like... Well... A "Classic" Sonic game. The only thing I hate is the over-used Pink Spikes gimmick. Otherwise they had it down.


Speaking of Planet Wisp: I found a way to get Sub 2 Minutes! Now only if Pink Spikes weren't so Gay. :v:

So .. The 3DS version is actually really really fun. Don't know where some of you are coming from. YouTube videos of guys who play it terribly do it no justice. Just wish I could see the 3D

 

This, this so much.

I actually find it quite a bit of fun, nothing mindblowing, but it's not a bad game by any means. And hey, I know how you feel, I can't see 3D effects either.

 

If I didn't pick up Mario 3d land today too I'd be playing more Generations. Mario is just so addictive :v. I heard the levels decline after emerald coast so let's see ...

This has happened to me too and I got stuck there with no way out, so I had to restart the level.

 

Hi guys, I haven't read anything through this thread as I don't want any spoilers for the last level.

I've only recently got Sonic Generations, and although most of the time it works fine, it often freezes for about 5 or so seconds (with only the music still playing) and I was wondering why it does that?

I was also nearly at the end of beating Metal Sonic, and it froze like it did before - but this time it didn't carry on after a while, so I had to force quit the game.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
4GB RAM
ASUS EAH5770 CU core, 1GB GDDR5

 

The PC version of Generations suffers from general stuttering. It did get an update but people are still getting like 2 second lockups sometimes and the unusual freeze. If you have vertical sync switched on in the configure, try to see if turning that off helps a bit. Another "fix" I've read about is to launch the game directly from the .exe instead of on steam.

Sorry for being such a pain in the ass and repeat myself, but...has anyone any unused USA male super sonic avatar costume who is willing to donate it to me? I'm doing a contest at my website, and I want to offer it as a price, along with the female USA and male and female Euro costumes I already have. I don't want to discualify from the contest to american males beacuse a lack of price for them...I will publically thanks at the website the donor.

GuetaMinute willed to give me his, but resulted that it was a classic sonic avatar, not a super sonic one, so I don't have it. I'm willing to change that code with a super sonic one if you want ( and if GuetaMinute it's ok with that).

If you don't have one, might you please help me to find one? maybe some female friend who has it and didn't use it? ( beacuse avatar costumes are sex locked, any female should have used their female code and have unused their male code, and so)

Please? I already started the contest beacuse I thought I had all the prices, thinking GuetaMinute's one was Super Sonic, and now if the contest ends and I don't have one to give, I'm in trouble.

 

I'll spread the word around since in a way this was sort of my fault since you were offered one and I took it thinking you already had one by GuetaMinute.

I managed to get him perpetually running into a wall, too, but I never tried standing on him.
