Thank you. Thank you so much.
Hell somebody get that even if there is no difference! it needs to be scanned onto the wiki and also it will make a good backup game.
Hello Retro guys! I have a problem. I got my Sonic Generations for X360 today and of course it has the codes for the game. I want to be sure before I redeem them. If you redeem them under USA account, does it make the code immidietly 100% non valid OR I can still use it if I redeem it under UK account? USA acc is the main one I use, UK account was done long time ago when I bought UK 2000MS code. Some reason these arcade games are all trials....
There is also second way that if I can exhance UK code to USA code, but will it work with my game then? Game I bought from GAME.co.uk
I apologise if dumb questions...
And if I redeem the codes under UK account, I can use it with my game and they do not go into trials?
Edit: Ok, I lost Super Sonic avatar because mate said that only 1 avatar can use it and when I redeemed it under UK acc, I can't use it with my USA acc :C. Theme is working, so does casino night DLC. PHEW!
3DS version has been dropped early in Germany.
Thigolf of SSMB has it and has posted the following infomation:
*The only characters in the game are Sonic, Tails, Eggman and the rivals.
*After you beat the boss (or Green Hill in the first era) youre free to choose which zone and act of the era you wanna do first.
*After you beat the rival of an era, the boss is unlocked
*The rivals are all races like Metal Sonic in Sonic CD and take part in Casino Night, Radical Highway and Tropical Resort
*The Bosses are Big Arm, Biolizard (SA2) and Egg Emperor (Heroes)
*In the Special Stages, you collect the orbs to get the boost and chase the emerald. You have to catch him within 1:30 min.
*Classic Sonic unlocks the homing attack after the classic era, Modern Sonic unlocks the stomp after the Dreamcast era.
*You can find the electric shields from the Advance and Rush games for Classic Sonic
*The missions cost 5 Playcoins each
*The Whale in Classic Emerald Coast destroys the path behind you kind of like the Truck in the HD Version does
*In Modern Emerald Coast, he jumps out of the water and you have to do a little quick time event to make him crash against the wall (poor guy)
*Modern Radical Highway has lots of grinding parts on the bridge
*In Water Palace Classic Sonic needs to activate the switches to make the water pumps, that shoot you up, work (could be gramatically false, sorry) The level also has a bubble maschine that creates bubbles you can jump on so you can cross holes
*The Back 2 Back remix in the Modern Level seems more funky and has more rock elements
*Classic Tropical Resort seems to be based more on the DS Version of Colors designwise, he also has the DS exclusive Red Wisp and has a Rocket Part at the end where so jump from rocket to rocket before they explode to get up
*Modern Tropical Resort is more based on the Wii Version and has the Cyan Wisp, at the end you grind on rails and you have to avoide falling meteors

Whos planning on doing the 3DS gamerip? I really want that music.
Biolizard as a boss? Damn, kinda makes me want to play it now. If there's a version of Live & Learn I might wanna hear it..
Since the 3DS version has different music, I'm really hoping it gets a soundtrack or is part of the announced soundtrack.
I clicked that spoiler tag. Why the fuck did I click that spoiler tag. Biolizard Boss, oh boy <3 But how will that work exactly? Perfect Chaos made sense because it was water running, but Biolizard is in space. The battle's probably going to have to be REALLY reworked.
Also, what's with Egg Emperor being the modern era boss? Heroes doesn't even have a level in the game (then again, Metal Sonic as the Classic rival in both versions in Stardust Speedway...), and most importantly, Heroes was considered a Dreamcast level in Generations HD. Conflicting considerations I guess?
At least they were smart enough to not use Metal Overlord, who is ENTIRELY in the clouds with no platform elements. They COULD have changed things up by making an Egg Fleet-esque level... if the game was 3D and not 2.5D :/ Though to be honest, I would have found that boss fight, along with a remix to What I'm Made Of, to be much more badass and nostalgic.
Well it's simple you see
They'll use the Shadow Biolizard boss. I mean, why not, they already used a Shadow level. As far as the Heroes boss goes, it makes some sense, however with the 3DS version instead of Genesis, Dreamcast, Modern it's Genesis, Dreamcast, Nintendo
That's Final Hazard. This is Biolizard:
It IS the Shadow Biolizard battle. And it plays a remix of Supporting Me.
Modern Emerald Coast gameplay.
Really shitty modern Emerald Coast gameplay.
Damn me but, I think I'll get the 3DS version too. I need more 3DS games, and the DS Sonic games were pretty fun.
It doesn't look too good TBH, the levels feel empty and there's little visual variety, modern levels in particular feel like completely 2D levels (as in graphical) with a extrude tool applied to them.
I'm incredibly disappointed with the level selection in the 3DS version of Sonic Generations, personally. BUT, I'm willing to get it for more classic Sonic gameplay and also the fact that some of the boss battle choices are actually really good.
I just hope that you can unlock Super Sonic in this version too...
Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any hope for these modern stages it seems. The level design and structure is just dire.
I want to see how the Dreamcast and Modern era levels are like for classic Sonic.
It would be pretty damn lame if the Chaos Emeralds were just used for that typical Space Fight in the handheld Sonic games. Seriously, Sonic Colors DS y u do this?
DAT WINDY AND RIPPLY
I thought it was going to end up being W&R for Modern and regular Emerald Coast for Classic. Guess I wasn't wrong. Though, that Azure Blue World mix sounded like a modern version to me... heh.
He wasn't the only one to wat da fuk. Game STILL has buggy problems.
Nice going Segadimps.
Forgot how the handheld Sonic games are still boost to win. Shows how much changed for Modern Sonic on consoles with Colors.
Everywhere I go, I'm seeing Sonic Generations charting in the 20s. I know once the novelty of the fanservice and Classic Sonic has worn off the game is really rather poo, I expected it to be eaten up alive! Oh well.
That gameplay looks awful. I knew Dimps had a tendency to make bland, barren, lifeless level design, but I didn't think it would be to the extent that it was in that video. Absolutely terrible.
Definitely want to hear a music rip, though!
Ya I may end up getting this game, but who the hell knows. It does look bland and boring. I do want that music though
I haven't seen any 20s anywhere.
Is the game poo? No. Perfect? No
