    If you look in the Textures that I've extracted and converted to TGA,
    there seems to be classic Eggman textures, I think its for the end post sign though.

    also that egg robot texture can be found from Sky sanctuary.
    along with all the other badnicks,
    as well as what looks like what could be Casino night zone textures.

    I don't know what Jimmy did to get his modifications to work, but I just thought of something.

    Why don't you just copy the bb.cpk from the 360 version to the PS3 version? It sounds elementary and probably won't work, but it might be worth a shot. The only thing that probably wouldn't work are the graphics for the controllers buttons, but who knows.

    Settling this right fucking now.

    There are NO. I mean <b>NO</b> City Escape resources in the unpacked demo. No songs. No models. None. Only some textures and brief mentions in the debug code like the rest of the levels, but that's it. Please. For the love of all that is holy STOP ASKING ABOUT CITY ESCAPE. IT'S NOT IN THERE.

    Quoting for truth. People (me included) were given misinformation that there was remains of CE within the demo. I suppose the debug code could've made them think there was remains within the demo.

    If there <I>is</I> the tiny chance that CE in the demo, then it must be well-hidden, that's for sure. Pretty dang sure its not though.

    Success I got it to work !
    Will be doing a Bulk level conversion of all 3D models in the game.
    (perhaps we art guys can team up to do this)


    UVs are intact! Textures links however are not,
    so textures would need to be manually applied to the models. this in itself would take quite awhile.
    Also bones are not importing correctly for characters.

    (We will get everything out to the community, normally model rippers are stingy and never like to share,
    I just don't see a reason for the hording thats been done in the past on other sonic games, After all it does benefit the fan gaming community)


    Edit: since the subjects been brought up , but deleted by a mod, I will not be following threw with releasing any models, sorry guys.

    This game isn't released yet, I'm sure that there are very good reasons. Sega has been good to us, we do not want to mess that up.

    Really wish that at least the Classic model was released. I want someone to start porting it into other Sonic games like the Adventures, Heroes, Unleashed etc. as well as other games Sonic appeared in like Brawl. Though I'm sure they'd have to tone how detailed the model is down for a lot of them.

    Yes, I got that much from the posts I'd read. That's <I>why</I> I said what I did in the edit. I don't like hypocrisy in any form, and try to avoid it myself as much as possible.

    Since this is the site that claims to detest hoarding when it comes to prototypes, why defend it with mesh assets?

    Stupid question: is the friction value when Sonic is rolling stored in the XML files? If so, maybe classic Sonic can be made to take more momentum by reducing the friction. Similar deal with classic Sonic jumps being too heavy, if gravity is part of the XML file it can be tweaked.
