    That depends on what you want his jump mechanics to be like.
    If you want him to play kinda like Blaze in the rush games with her axle jump (which is basically like the whirl), he would have a higher maximum jump height, but won't travel quite as far laterally. Whereas the classic spin jump would have a slightly lower maximum jump height but the player would be able to travel a greater horizontal distance during a jump.

    Next question:
    Do you want to give him the whirl dash or spin dash capabilities?

    I think that he will have spin jump and spin dash. Maybe He will have some special whirl action just like SEGA did to Blaze in Sonic 2006.
     
  9. I really like the way this looks and I hope to see more. With the way everything is iorning out, I'm sure it will be great. I look forward to playing it.

    This Sonic 4 art looks really great in your game.
    The only thing I had to note is that the grass doesn't suit Sonic Advance-styled sprites a bit.

    Looks really really fun to go around in, especially considering that your engine is extremely solid and fun. Can't wait to try to this out or at least see it in action. :)

    So I finished Splash Hill. It's not a complete port from Sonic 4 but still it came out very well!

    Not a bad job at all!

    Sonic does look a little bit small but that doesn't really affect the game play by the looks of that video. One thing I'm curious about though where did you get your Splash Hill Zone tiles from? Did you rip them yourself or are they available on the Internet somewhere?

    Anyway, Great job! :thumbsup:

    That actually looks a bit fun to play! Sure, it's a tad bit linear, but I'm sure we could deal with that. :)

    Are you considering a slightly less generic title card? I'm sure you've impressed enough people to consider contributing a couple of things, such as given example.
