Guys? Hey, guys? We still don't have any footage of the purported rare final boss attacks. Someone should do something about that.
I've never seen him do anything besides the starting Frenzy (I guess the default state), Laser, Cube, Spikes, Laser/Cube and Spikes/Cube. No Drill, Hover or Rocket.
I'm 100% sure that it doesn't exist at all or, if it does, it's omitted from the attack routine for some reason. Any one insisting otherwise needs to put up video or sit back down.
It doesn't, I was randomly running through the stage with codes for 40 minutes (I actually wasn't playing, I just left it on, lol.) and he NEVER used these "Rare" moves.
I'd put up a vid if I had the equipment. I very clearly remember him using Drill and it was the drills on the tentacle things
Uncanny, certainly, but I don't think it's a remix so much as both were composed by Tomoya Ohtani and have a similar style and structure. It's not unlikely that a composer makes two songs that sound similar to others.
About that, there was a bunch of different unused Wisp Power tracks ripped from the game (named "United" or something similar). Not sure if they were going to be used in the co-op mode, but then again, there was also another unused track from there (another part of the Colours theme).
By the way, I'm still looking for announcer voice clips, so if someone has those, that'd be quite nice.
Well, with the right modifications, anything could sync up... Listen to more of his mixs, some are actually pretty good...like this one!
If anything it's more interesting how Plant Kingdom's music seems to have its basis in Sonic Rush's Right There Right On in structure and tune.
Here ya go. Found this when I was looking for sound-effects to put into/replace with in Sonic Heroes a while back. : B Originally ripped by "Azu" of the Spriters-Resource.
Wait...Azu? Isn't he from around here? Never got an opinion from you guys about this but what do you guys think of colors DS OST?
For what it is, it's alright, though obviously none of the tracks hold up to their console counterparts. That said, the Special Stage music is amazing.
I also like the pinch music for the bosses, though a lot of interesting parts in the skullcan/orcan fight BGM are missing. The regular stage music sounds quite nice however! For the most part I'm impressed with how well most of the music translated.
So last night as I played through the Levels as Super Sonic, I noticed there are some levels where it is simply not worth getting him in certain levels. So I made a chart showing what levels it IS worth going Super in! Sonic Colors Super Sonic Guide
Hey guys I've just noticed a weird thing. At 0:36 I don't remember a drift section in tropical resort! Where did it go and why did they remove it?
