It's not even an implementation of the Rush trick system, it only looks like it from the button-mashing perspective. It's actually just a watered-down version of the QTEs from Unleashed.
No, but Assassin's Creed Brotherhood did So I called them up, went down to the store, and they let me pick it up. So I did. Haven't played the DS version yet (saving that for the 6 hour bus ride I must endure this weekend), but as for the Wii version. Fucking awesome. Nuff said.
Ah, fuck, I should have thought of that. I would have actually picked up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood this week if my computer hadn't died, too. I mean in the sense of its function. It's a trick ramp that lets you get a little extra air. There's just never any excuse to not get extra air. Makes a cool transition between level sections, though.
You could complete either Sweet Mountain or Starlight Carnival first. As the game events need to remain in order there are versions of the 2nd and 3rd boss area cutscenes for both planets.
Anyone seen this? http://www.sonicstadium.org/news/2010/11/f...re-order-offer/ This Argos shit's gone crazy. People are contacting the consumer watchdog? Oh dear. Anyway, did anyone else have trouble with the the big tentacle-faced claw thing that chases you down a pipe in Aquatic Park? Try as I might, I can't seem to dodge in the right direction to avoid his claw swings. Any tips, anyone?
Boost. Boost like Death is chasing you with a spiked dildo. Which it essentially is. I think you can also jump the claws, but I'm not sure.
It doesn't let you jump in that section in Aquarium Park, for some bizarre reason that I'll never understand. I find it's best to hold off on the boost until he starts his swing, boost a way in front of him, keep dodging the lasers until he goes to swing again, lather, rinse, repeat.
I think its probably just a matter of postage, the figures will probabaly arrive sometime in the week :/ And then there is people moaning about not getting free crap, like the free crap was all they wanted lol
I think it's the fact that it's £35 for Sonic Colours + free crap from Argos, and £25 for Sonic Colours in other places. Essentially, Argos have screwed them out of £10.
Wait where is it £25? lol £30 was the best I could find and thats in a supermarket and they are always price matching. in other news, I just saw a UK advert for the game, it seems they decided to dump the main theme in place of some kinda variation of that kiddys 'naming the colours of the rainbow' song >_> I still think its a missed opportunity not to do a campaingn with Skittles
£26? Curse you Tesco! Oh well, my Sainsburys holiday discount brought it to about that anyway XD I never preorder unless the game actually comes with something of actual worth, if I got the argos thing, it would have to have the Sonic-hat, only then would I kick up a fuss if it didnt arrive lol aha, and screwattacks video review has came back again lol http://screwattack.com/videos/VGR-Sonic-Colors
Damn, can't watch the ScrewAttack video. Why, computer? Why did you have to die? The comments are nice to see, though, especially after Sterling and his flock of sheeple.
Nice to find out the day of release that the closest retailer to me isn't going to actually carry Sonic Colors at all. Would've been nice to know, you know, anytime before launch day. Guess I'll have to order online.
I just got off the phone with them (Argos, not the Watchdog). As soon as I mentioned that I'd ordered a game and hadn't received the pre-order bonus the guy actually knew what I was talking about. He said there'd been a problem with the orders and the quickest thing to do would be to go down to a store and pick it up from there. The only other option would be to send the game back to them and they'll send you a new copy with the figurine. Balls, eh?
When he said 'pick it up from a store' did he mean the free one promised, or did he mean go and spend £15 on one? 'Cos there's an Argos less than a minute down the road from me, I'll go grab it if it's the free one.
