Exactly why I never preorder online, unless there's a guarantee it'll be at your door step on release date.
Nice game. :specialed: I thought that it was sold out, because I didn't see the game at the Wii section, so I went home while being slightly ticked off. But I went back to ask those people if they had a copy somewhere else, and the game was appearently in those Colours action figure boxes that were all over the place. Feels good man. Currently at Planet Wisp act 3, only locked wisp is the void(?) wisp.
It only looks like the Game Land stages are shallow because they're relatively smaller and simpler. The "relatively smaller and simpler" bit probably helps the co-op on the road to not becoming a clusterfuck, but part of it is also the psychological aspect of the simpler visuals.
Replying, because I have had my delivery, and guess what: WHERE ARE THE FIGURINES? YOU SAID THERE WOULD BE FIGURINES, AR-GOSS </obscure injoke> Seriously though - I know for a fact these arrived after 12:45 as I came home to check to see if they'd been delivered before then at lunch time =P I get home, find these 2 in wrapping on the doormat, but no figurines in sight - rang Argos up, got some guy who talked to a guy in stocks about it who knew what he was talking about even before he'd mentioned the game title of Sonic Colours, just "video game preorder figure" was enough. They said they'd get back to me within 72 hours, I'm beginning to wonder if they've either run out or have pulled the entire offer, and as someone who not only bought these from Argos just to get the figurine bonuses (and spent a little more to do so, I should add), but placed one of these 2 preorders 2 months ago, I'm going to be rather pissed off if I end up not getting them. AAUK, you reading this thread? If so, any idea what Argos is playing at? If anyone has any insider info, it'll be you =P
So, any UK Argos preorders actually turn up? With figures? I'm really unimpressed with Argos, actually. Not gonna be ordering anything from them in future. I'll stick with GAME or Amazon next time. EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the post above. Ouch. Kinda worried now. Let us know what they say when they get back to you, won't you? I mean, if we were sold the game under those terms, they pretty much have to provide - trade descriptions and all that.
So, hey, here's a random little tidbit I came across on another forum. Warning, spoilers for the ending, so don't click if you don't want to see that kind of thing. This video has ending spoilers, so don't click if you don't want to see that kind of thing yet. Spoilers ahead, watch where you highlight: + - Sonic basically blows up Robotnik's mech pretty much the same way this guy from a sentai called Kamen Rider kills a monster. The announcer names off every power before he shoots off his big color beam and everything.
That sure is beautiful, wow. That it might be ready to be ported to the HD consoles is no joke. Too bad that my Wii has indeed a lower resolution, and It somehow looks like it has a slightly slower framerate or something.
Exactly. They were simpler. Too simple and straight forward in my book. I wasn't even factoring in that it was co-op and suppose the stagnant design might have helped.
This is gonna get lost amidst the "COLORS IS THE BOMB-DIGGY-BOMB-DI-BAM-DI-BAM-DIGGY-DIGGY" but I've got a question for ya'll that own it. Sonic's movement. It seems to me that you can only accelerate to higher speeds if the analogue stick is pushed beyond a certain point on the vertical axis. Meaning, if you're going diagonally, the game will let you accelerate, but if you press directly left, you can only go so fast. On top of that, if you go diagonally and then go left, you'll retain whatever speed you had before while running around in circles. Can anyone confirm if that's what it feels like? And maybe add some more information to that too? Thanks.
Man, I simply cannot wait to buy this game. It might have to wait until December, but it's well worth the wait. I've been listening to the soundtrack almost constantly. It's absolutely amazing.
Yaha, upgraded from copy to official copy lol nice to beat the game on an official copy, one run through only took 5 hours, and I got exactally half the redstars lol Now just need to get the rest of thoses red starts for "you know what im talking about" XD
So... finished the game. In four hours. Then again, I was trying to finish it quickly... and I still haven't gotten all red rings. There's only one thing I can say here; This game is fucking amazing. Also: LOOK AT OF ALL THEM!
I don't have any context having not played the game so I don't know what the fuck this is about, but it's "Look at all those Eggman's robots", surely? :specialed:
