Not interested. I want to enjoy the entirety of Sonic Colors in the confort of my house, in my room's setup, with no lines to wait for or rushes. So, no, thank you. I'll pass.
To be fair, I know what he means. Now if it was right here in my town of Portland, Oregon I would be VERY tempted to go but then I likely wouldn't since the game only releases shortly afterward and I might enjoy parts of the game more if I experience them first in my own home and setting. ...Ignoring the fact I played the E3 demo but that was months ago. >_> -shot- However if it was the full game for playing at the show floor I'd likely avoid for spoilers.
I have to agree with others. Not to say you can't enjoy a game the first day it's released if you've played it before, but there's something about cracking the sucker open and giving it a go on your own. It's almost like a rite of passage. If it were something I was kind of interested in (and I lived in New York), I might check it out. But I've always had this excitement playing a Sonic game for the first time myself that wouldn't be the same if I played it beforehand.
http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/...le.php?id=20920 ONM reconfirmed to have Colors Wii and DS reviews, but the reason it's getting pushed back is because the newest issue has exclusive stories on Zelda Skyward Sword, Resident Evil Revelations, Ocarina of Time Remake, and several other 3DS titles. Comes out tomorrow still though.
Woah, fuck Colors, there's going to be new info on Skyward Sword and the OoT remake soon? Sign me up.
Might actually buy an issue of that after about a year of shunning it lol colours, zelda's, resi evil? sold
I don't give a damn about Resident Evil, but that rest sounds just wonderful. Somebody should post scans.
I want them too as it sounds like an awesome issue. Also Resident Evil is awesome, one of the best series around. >: D Though opinions aside excited to see or hear of the review in the next few hours. It should be about 4 AM in Europe right now so stores open in a few hours.
I'm pretty sure that Resident Evil thing is the new CG movie (follow-up to Degeneration, as opposed to the shitacular live-action stuff that has no connection to the games whatsoever), so unless the info just looks really good compared to Degeneration (which is sorta okay but ultimately weaksauce), then it's nothing to get excited about anyway. Although I suppose the movie might have something to do with the direction they intend to take the franchise post-RE5, which could be interesting... Looking forward to the review, but the real sticking point will probably be the post-release reviews, since those have less of a tendency to bend the truth or coddle a game more than it really deserves in exchange for simply being able to review the game pre-release. I'll be interested to see how the reviewers who tend to stray from the Four Point Scale on a regular basis recieve the game, too.
You do realize there are 2 Resident Evil titles announced for the 3DS right? One is a sequel to RE5, the other is a stand-alone mercenaries game.
ONM give the Wii version 86% and the DS verison 85%. Shadzter from Sonic Stadium giving us scans soon. -3-
Thanks to Shadzter from Sonic Stadium for all of this! Refresh this page as the review is coming soon and likely I'll have to edit this post unless someone else posts. DS Review coming soon. Thanks to Shadzter again, DS review:
