I for one, am not too worried about the uncurling issue here. It doesn't sound as bad as it is in Sonic 4. Also, as for the jumping thing, yes, it's quite silly and pointless, not to mention it makes no sense when you take into context how past games worked... but it at least adds a bit of challenge that many have asked for in a Sonic game, from my perspective. I mean, if homing attack and jumping aren't the best ways of dealing with enemies... what IS? Using wisps? Boosting or drifting into them? I don't know. I do know that hey, even if these problems are annoying, it sounds like this game has the least problems out of ANY Sonic game that has come out for 15 years.
Weird, I remember lazy town being awful. Then again, I don't think I've actually seen a full episode. What makes you think it was good for a kids show? I mean, to be honest, Happy Tree Friends isn't that great either. I haven't actually played madworld so I don't know. I just know I love the dialogue in this game. The dialogue and lightheartedness did originate from unleashed (as did a good amount of the game) so I still stand by thinking that sonic unleashed was a step in the right direction, and this is a leap in that direction. Edit: So essentially they made sonic colors so the reviewers couldn't bitch. Good strategy, they already said they liked the day levels, they've either got to contradict themselves now or admit to liking the game! It's a bit annoying that he doesn't realize that other characters are fine, we just want them to be the same SPEED as sonic, and we want their gameplay to be roughly the same, just with alternate routes only available to some characters and different levels.
Here's some choice quotes from the announcers in the game to give you an idea: They've also written for Mighty Max and ReBoot, so those guys are awesome by default.
Maybe now they can start out doing SRB2 in what they do right. Who am I kidding, this is the Same sega that cut part of SADX off so they could sell it later as an upgrade patch.
I really hope we get an alternate version or a sequel to Colours on 360/PS3. It looks like the best 3D Sonic game ever in my opinion.
Lazy Town may have been awful (Do what you want...), but there is one thing about the show that makes it incredible despite that (Because a pirate lives free...). The fucking songs (YOU ARE A PIRATE!). Anyway, Happy Tree Friends is very much fail. It's just something all the emos watch because crappily drawn animals getting mutilated helps ease the pain inside due to that cellphone their parents didn't get them. So anyway, at this point, there's not a doubt in my mind that Sonic Colors will be the greatest Sonic game in years, and in my opinion it perfectly captures Sonic's style. I also hope there are some bosses you can fight with the wisp powers.
ITT a bunch of teenagers call a show written for 4 and 5 year olds "awful" Kids loved LazyTown. It was hyper successful, it was shown in like 40 fucking countries.
Those same people are currently members of a website dedicated to a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog whose core demographic is meant to be less than 12 years old. The fact that some complain about such a t.v. show does not strike me as surprising in the least. In other news, is anyone else in shock that this is the direction they decided to go? Ever since Sonic Adventure, the plots for Sonic have been terribly written; all of a sudden out of nowhere they decide to bring on some writers with an extremely impressive pedigree. The fact that they actually care enough to do so is astounding to me. Unleashed had some funny moments, but nothing about it has made me laugh. The lines that we've been shown, not even in context are already hilarious. I love it.
I can. Too bad it's not going to happen. If it was, then he should be able to access all Wisp powers at any time (but not the 2D exclusive Wisps in 3D) just to give him that overpowered feeling he always used to have.
Moar liek ITT People stroke their egos, amirite? Super Sonic being playable would make me die of insulin shock. It's so possible for them to do, too, since this game's progression isn't as choppy as the Adventure series. And since I believe the level progression also isn't story based like the Adventure series, that makes it all the more possible.
I don't think they'd do that. For one, how would you choose between which power to use if Super Sonic had them all? Maybe cycling through them with a button, sure.. but still, if Super Sonic's playable in all levels, I'm sure he'll have to pick up the wisps himself still. He'd probably still be invincible and faster with higher jumps anyways, so he'd still be overpowered if they do it like the Classics.
I figured Super Sonic's color meter just wouldn't run out during certain powers, so you could drill or hover to your heart's content.
Oh god, playable Super Sonic in this game? I...I don't think I could handle the sheer win of it. Normally, I'd say it's not gonna happen, but a lot of people thought that Sonic being playable in water in a 3D game would never happen and...welp. :v: You never know, now, honesty. Not that I would get my hopes up either, though.
