The last piece of the original Sonic 2 Beta has finally come back home to Sonic Retro. Although it's merging will bring about little new information to the site, the assimilation was based on the notion that it would be in the best interest for Sonic Classic and as a way to bring in the last piece of the puzzle. Little will also change to Sonic Retro. We hope the Sonic Retro community will welcome the SClassic userbase, most of which is already registered here, with arms open.
I've closed up shop on the board—it all redirects over here now. I think this place could use some more blue. :P

Well this happening is news to me, but oh well. Welcome to to any SClassic members that weren't here before.
Well, I was promoted to Sysop due to work I do on the wiki, which is alot. I have some moderator capabilities, but I think I earned it. Although I don't use my forum powers really.
I wasn't quite expecting a jump to moderator either. If anything, I'll consider it a temporary role, around a week, to make sure everything gels well.
Yes we are the Borg, we assimilate Sonic communities mwuahahahaha... *shot* And Gene, congrats on your promotion. :P
That's funny. I recall Gene being the only new moderator, and of my own personal choice—maybe you should keep your nose out of forum affairs, so you don't keep making assumptions that make you look stupid.
Its great to feel like a refugee. So we shuffle back into a sonic community when recently I was thinking of making a poll on our forum if SEGA is still relevant. Ah well, this should be a gas.

I'm just curious. First Ayla, then Jayextee, and now GeneHF, in a short period of time. That's the staff recruiting in last weeks. Congrats, Gene.
Except that I'm far from an oldbie -- I've been here just under a year (If you include from before the merge with S2Beta), so I would guess I'm still a newbie. I asked Tweaker about his decision because I was initially quite uncomfortable with it, but he assures me that as I very often contribute well to discussion in a mature manner, I'm a good candidate, and Scarred Sun agrees. I just hope not to disappoint.
