Sonic CD Theory?

    Just thinking about Sonic CD and the missing zone(zones?). R2 couldve been the Cactus
    level shown on the world map, and couldve been called Dusty Dunes(hey, people want that Same letter name, right?). The second(since I remember reading about R9 someplace, but I'm not so sure) couldve been the Ruins level, seen in the ending to Sonic CD.

    Eh, I'm just bored and voicing my thoughts ^^;;

    Nothing that concerns this place in the least.
    Some people even suspect that level of being Dust Hill. In Nemesis' CD Sonic 409 Beta Hoax, the name of that level was "Mercury Mine".

    that's where I got the name from, since msot people would have a fit if I just said Dust Hill =P

    Yes, I've seen shots of the 409 hoax ^^;;

    Almost everyone thinks that, but I think that Dust Hill is just a hoax. The only thing that brings me to a stop is in Sonic 2 BETA's stage select. Which was probably just a crummy proto name for MCZ.

    It`s open to speculation. The discovery of the crocodile badnik, level artist, and the name on the level select is enough evidence for me that the level probably existed in Sonic 2`s earlier builds.

    First off, Dust Hill has more proof that it was real. You can find the "Remains" of it via hex code.Though, I forget which hex number is the leftover,but the address is 12280 offset 12288
