Sonic CD ROM

How about trying it on a search engine I've have problem with it to but I'll see If I can find the rom and if I do I'll give you the link :wink: unless someone else knows where to find one.

Yeah, I got mine (all of them :wink: ) at Gerbil's. While we're on the topic of Sonic CD, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the dino2d.dll for the PC version? I installed it but that file was missing when it finished and it is required to run. I tried searching on the net be found nothing.

 

Umm...That link for the sonic cd rom I got a 404 error how did you got in does anyone got this problem

Its a DOS file

Trust me, won't run on XP, if that's what you're talking about.

FYI, Sonic CD uses an extension of DOS, the Dino Libraray

Some versions don't have to run off DOS, and those are the DirectX versions....

 

Looks like Gerbil has taken down his site. I'll try to find out what's going on.

Do a search on the CD itself and then put the file in System32. It will nag for another file, search for that to. Then it will say (XP) This program has encoutered a problem and will be shut down yadda yadda. And the problem is the dreaded appcompat.txt.

 

Gerbil's site is down for maintenance, although finding the Scd isos is quite hard even when using a search engine since there are lots of bogus sites around. Try Kazaa, but beware, lots of bogus filenames too.
