I fixed it, lololol. That said, I'm interested to see where it goes overall. If it plays well, nobody will care about the designs. They're a big change, yes, but the shock is more that it's all in one go.
It's amazing how much better that they look with the extraneous crap removed. Even Beefcake Knuckles isn't THAT terrible.
Imagine if Robotnik ended up looking like this again. Good god I just realised what his torso looks like.
Sonic and Knuckles look weird but Tails and Amy look great Also it will be good to play as someone other than sonic for the first time in like 8 years :I
I'm glad to see that multiple characters are returning, but that's precisely what makes me nervous about this. I hope that you're not forced to switch characters at certain points and can stick with the same one for most of the game if you really want to. And if this bombs, they better not be like "Oh, it was because Sonic wasn't the only playable character". :v: My prediction: Won't be up to par with Colors and Generations, but will be better than Lost World.
I'm not talking shit about the gameplay until I see how its being handled. It actually has many elements I've been asking for in a Sonic game for a LONG WHILE. But these character designs are some of the most bizarre decisions I've seen from SEGA. Just fucking look at them. Who thought this was hip? What was wrong with how recognizable Sonic and the gang were? Amy, Tails, and Eggman just have different cloths, but Sonic and Knuckles are just... I don't even.

The game doesn't look too bad other than the models. Which very likely could be fixed at some point since Western developers actually listen to their fans more often than Japanese ones do.
Fan art already? This is going to be good! This GIF is always amusing to watch to a piano rendition of the Gumball Machine in Sonic 3.
