Sonic and the Black Knight

Who ever thought of the idea that this would be awesome needs to fly.

 

Errr...what? I haven't played a console Sonic game since Sonic 3D Blast (Heroes was so awful it doesn't count), so like the other new Sonic games, I definitely won't be picking it up.

 

I'm not offended by it, but as I never did play satsr I don't know quite what to make of it as a game.


Hopefully this isn't going to hurt development of Unleashed.

 

If it keeps the people who are thinking up these storylines away from the series, I think it's a boon to Unleashed.

 

Ah, see, now I'm getting worried. I don't want Sonic Unleashed to become another Sonic Next because of SEGA working on 2 projects at once again and giving us only 70% because the other 30% goes to something we don't really care as much for anyway. I hope they've learned their lesson and have their priorities straight this time... Think about it.

 

I can really see it being the other way around and SATBR being rushed.

 

Well, yeah, I'm sure Unleashed is a higher priority (this game has had no E3 shenanigans like the other Sonic games), and it's getting more attention; I'm worried though that this will use team members that would be otherwise working on Unleashed.

 

Sonic + Sword + Homing Attack = Win!

People judged Kingdom Hearts saying "Final Fantasy + Disney = ASS"
Hopefully, Sonic the Dark Knight could have a good sword using system like Kingdom Hearts. Personally, I think this could be a LOT more fun than giving an emo rodent weapons of mass destruction and his own multiplatform release.

 

So, giving a hedgehog weapons is a bad idea... Except this time?

On topic: I lol'd. SOOOO HARD. Hahahahaha. This game is going to be off the hook. I can't wait. I'm really looking forward to this game.

Once again, you guys are bitching about a game you haven't played based on ONE image. Wait for a video of it to come out before you PMS.

 

I have never thought of myself to be embarassed to be a sonic fan untill hearing of this game. (You'd think I'd have this attitude after Heroes, Shadow or Sonic 06, but I've held out pretty good untill now.)

 

I think the question that we should really be asking is, "Will Sonic fight for his friends?".

Oddly enough, I mistook the teaser image from the previous issue to be for a Fire Emblem game. I never thought it would actually be a Sonic game, especially after there was a noticible gap in Nintendo's E3 lineup that could easily be diverted to an exclusive article in its partner magazine.

 

Well, after looking at the scan of the magazine cover, I think it's safe to say that I don't care about it either way; I don't hate the idea or love it. I'm indifferent.

That said, I'm just focussing on Sonic Unleashed, and that's it.
