It's not unusual at all for a library to have gaming magazines.

Looking at the evidence (and logic), I think we should ignore this until feasible data comes forth.

 

From last Nintendo Power:

 

True... something so random and obscure as this would have most likely been announced at E3 if the magazine is in fact a September issue. And I can't find anything about the game at all, not even on Nintendo's Online E3'08 Press Kit.

 

To try and get people to believe that they are more up to date.

My reaction was "Hmmm, King Arthur now?" in regards to it, should it be real, being a Secret Rings sequel. I just.. I love how everyone assumed this'll make Shadow look gold just because Sonic's holding a sword. While I do agree on the Legend of Zelda front, I think I'm gonna reserve my BAWing till I know a bit more and don't look like a complete dumbass, should it happen that like usual, everyone turns and says "Hey, its not so bad".

I have to say while that render does look badass, giving Sonic a weapon of whatever kind is so damn out of character it's not even funny anymore. HE'S NATURE. HE FIGHTS WITH ONLY HIS BODY. DAMMIT.

 

I just lol'ed so hard... I wonder if it's a sequel to Secret Rings?

My first reaction was, "They let Takashi Iizuka make another Sonic game?!"

Also, I'm thinking that this might be fake as well. If it isn't fake, there'd better be a good reason why this isn't a Golden Axe/Altered Beast/Kid Chameleon game. This looks like a Secret Rings sequel, and if it is, the sword is probably just a McGuffin. But this being a September issue makes it suspicions.

Okay my first reaction was ....
But someone said maybe a Sonic and the Secret Rings sequel... Sonic was in the Arabian Knights story before right? Maybe he's just going to be in the King Arthur world now. He won't actually use the sword, but he's just dressed up like that for advertising purposes.

or else, I all ready feel bad for all the hope I was feeling for fucking Unleashed. I knew even if they got one game right they'd fucking blow it in the end. God, I shoulda listened to my gut.

Does anyone find it even mildly suspicious that this cover was released just in time for The Dark Knight's release?

 

It COULD turn out to be 'not so bad'. It could be the best fucking thing since sliced bread for all I care. It doesn't change the fact that myself and shitloads of other people are tired of seeing these HEY LETS REINVENT SONIC AND TRY SOMETHING NEW games lol.
