Wait, STH can read braille too? Oh man, I remember my teacher in 5th grade pounding it into us to learn braille. In her words, "Better to learn it now than before you go blind someday!".

So is there sometimes something different written in Braille from what's in words? Just asking...

The only thing I had to use Braille for is the 3 Regis on Pokemon Ruby. I should learn it too in case something happens(like my eyes pop out).

No matter how bad of an idea this game seems to be, I haven't been able to condemn this game, and I finally figured out why:

Look how short Sonic is. I don't think I've seen him that short since Sonic Adventure 1.

Still not as cool as his SA1 model, though.

 

Phos.... You seen him that short not long ago. It's his model from Sonic and the Secret Rings. Even the texture is the same.

 

Eh, I guess the CG actually matches the In Game a little better this time around. Looking at his Secret Rings model, I bet the ring is still there underneath the gauntlet.

I'll take one without the swords when I get back to Florida, maybe it'll fix the space-time continuum.

 

Stuck up against the wall? That sounds like a gameplay problem, not a control problem. By the way, think of it as skill as well; if you ran in to a wall, I guess you should have avoided it knowing the game moves forward.

 

I understand now why this gameplay style doesn't feel completely ridiculous to me.


It's Loony Toons, actually.

If you go back and look at some of the older stuff, you'll see Bugs Bunny and his rivals in the various parodies of well-known literature and movies, such as Arthur or Arabian Nights. I suppose they don't act entirely out of character, but that's where it all comes from -- in a manner of speaking, Sonic is returning to his "roots".

 

Good point. Sonic did kind of have that Big Bunny-esque mischievous nature. We were lucky to see the two seconds of it in Sonic '06 when he tapped that gunner bot with his foot.
