I was about to squeal like a fucking fangirl until I found out that you got that off of Deviantart. It looks nice, but seriously, dick move :v:
I already knew that fan render so...I guess I was safe. Pretty trollish, good move That guy renders are fucking awesome
I watched the image slowly load from top to bottom. I was getting excited. So damn random, such a funky choice, so official looking. But deep down, I knew better...and alas, the disappointment kicked...
Hey, you never know, they might rip things from Deviantart like they did in the Wii version last time. :v:
I only ever got to play the demo of the first game, but from what I can tell, Transformed looks a lot more fun. Maybe this time, I'll actually be able to pick the game up before it becomes rare. Danica Patrick's inclusion is confusing the hell out of me, though.
Whaaat. I was under the assumption them getting a NASCAR racer in was a way to keep a hold of the Daytona USA license a bit longer and maybe get the Hornet car into the game. Missed opportunity right there. The hornet wouldn't really fit in as just the car, so this would have made perfect sense. Bah.
We had Opa Opa in the last game, I don't really see why they couldn't just make it sentient like it was in Fighters Megamix.
Sega creates Hornet. Sega destroys Hornet. Fans demand Hornet in All-Stars. Sega destroys fans. Sega includes Hornet in Ridge Racer... Fans kills Sega.... Danica Patrick inherits the earth...
Both wishful thinking and thinking maybe having a NASCAR racer in a Daytona USA car (which is part of NASCAR) would have made some sense. Never mind. :S
The way I see it she would have been driving that E3 car if nothing else. But now we know she is driving a six wheeled car.
Because we knew she wasn't driving the car seen at the show, and it would seem silly to have a Nascar driver in the game and have them explicitly not drive a stock car.
Gameplay of Vyse on the Panzer Dragoon track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzkxtmDBh5A AiAi on the Golden Axe track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8NEIOXr6fY Looks like the power-ups are more like Blur than Mario Kart, which makes sense considering that there's Bizarre staff that works at Sumo Digital now. EDIT: Gametrailers put up a walkthrough of the game with someone from Sumo playing it: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2012-sonic/731980
Technicly, there's no blue shell in the first game either. The closest thing they had was a remotly detonated blue missell.
In fact I think I remember a SUMO employee saying there was no Blue Shell leading up to the first game's release as well, probably on the SSMB. Not complaining of course, glad to hear there is no equivalent in Transformed either.
