Sonic Adventure S Missions

GAH!!!!! It took me forever just to beat level A mission in Emerald Coast.

 

Are you kidding me?!?!? Emerald Coast mission A is one of the easiest- *attacked and beaten*

 

havent really tried it yet

 

Oh! Oh! I got it! Collect 300 rings and beat the level in 1 minute!

Yeah I know it's easy. :P

 

Actually, that'd be Mission C.

 

Yeah. That's just about the easiest in the game. And if ya can't beat that, ya probably think that a PlayStation is a place where toys go on a train! :lol: (quote from Play 2Z) *beaten once again* :wacko: I-I'm okay... I think...

 

To be honest, I actually fin some of the later missions quite hard. I mean, I can do other missions and the old Sonic games blindfolded (and I've done it to ) but the A missions on sonic adventure are quite hard for me. I just can't seem to find the shortcuts. any help?

Exactly the whole thing with the snake, you can't rush that! plus I can only think of one shortcut and that's at the light/mirror bit. if anyone got any others that would be great.

Any questions? Yeah, gotta admit, that lost world thing was pretty tough. And, for one of those missions, "Scorch through the track and collect all the flags!" in LW, I've got a trick. First, have a few lives and rings just incase. Slowly, walk down and concentrate. After you start to go down, right after the big boulder starts to fall down, spindash back up as fast as ya can. If done correctly, you'll zip right under back to safety. Now you can go back down and collect 'em at your own pace! Once I figured out how, I do it every time now! And I got no problemo! B)

 

wow thanks basicly I just need short cuts for most levels. I can do them but it ends up being 1 second over the time limit. ooh can you give me detailed ways of gettin characters in other levels I tired the SA glitch guide but when I try to do it nothin happens.

Lost World, eh? I managed to find a shortcut (this works on the DC, not so sure about the Cube) that has my fastest time to under 3:45...

When you get to the area where Knuckles does his version of Lost World, go to near where the second flaming Orbinaut (Sonic 1-style enemy, S1 name) is, and kill it (letting it hit you first if you have the electric shield), then face up the steps while in the water, and start a spinsash aimed along the wall you're next to. As you release it, jump. If done right (you may want a few lives and a bit of practice), you'll gain some killer height (you're jumping off an upslope at a decent speed) and land on a platform with 2 ring monitors (so I like the Genesis terminology. Your problem?) and will be able to see the last few rings (which AREN'T part of the set the switch creates). Charge up a Light Speed Dash, and then jump as near to the little hole in the wall as you can, then release it. If all goes well, you'll go along the rings and into that inverted loop near the end, saving yourself ALOT of time and hassle.

Of course, Twinkle Park has a similar shortcut (again, this DOES work on the DC version, and is untested on DX), except it's after the ramp with the spiked ball on it . Charge up another Light Speed Dash, and jump as near to the 3 visible rings on the roof you can get, then let it go. Depending on what happens, you'll either get shot up real high, in which case you aim for the ending area, or you'll collect the rings and be on the roof's ledge. Either way, it's another big timesaver.

 

Hehehe. I beat Casinopolis in like 4:15 with that trick. It's a pretty good one too.
