Spoiler Brad Flick is Slingerland Skyler King is Skyler It's because they went to the S4:EI feedback session, I guess. Also, kinda funny that Aaron (RubyEclipse) is last on that list, right? :v:
Spoiler Well that sucks. It seems like a terrible idea to only have one character be allowed to go twice the speed as another. This also means that once Sonic goes super, the only time the second can do anything is when its required.
Spoiler Oh yeah, I think you filmed it? And maybe you mean something else, too. Cool, anyway. Oh, also, guys? This is Cool, right? http://forums.sega.com/showthread.php?407162-Sonic-4-Episode-II-Steam-Leak-from-Ken&p=7266073&viewfull=1#post7266073
Thanks allot Yoshi 15. one question though, can the cutscene .aax files have a sound effect less version if some tinkering was done? or is it impossible?
It would kill the other instruments a bit. I hope they release S4 ost on some media maybe? Also it's fun how this build lacks some songs! (See there are 'holes' in the numbering!)
I saw mention of a secret Episode 1 song that was a remix of a 16 bit song. What song was it? EDIT: Hope it wasn't a reference to the shitcanned (rightfully so) boss theme from Sonic 3D Blast. Since that's pretty common knowledge.
Finally, some music leaks. Spoiler Here's my thread contribution. Technically not done, velocity inconsistancies everywhere, not used to the new anvil studio. Also, it's not a GM midi so beware listening to it in GM because the high notes are loud.
Spoiler The feedback session was part of it, yes. We stayed in touch with the SoA team afterward, though.
One thing I noticed. In addition to no longer standing on walls, sonic will no longer stand at an angle on a slope. He'll stand normally (vertical)
Well, it's probably the most salvageable song in the game---Jun still uses repetitive patterns and fails to make the song perfect, but it certainly would be fun to play around with the song. EDIT: Whoops, I meant Act 2, but Act 1 is good as well.
Spoiler I love how the Stardust Speedway remix stands out in particular. You can tell it's not from this game even if you've never heard the song before because it doesn't sound a thing like any of the other songs and it lasts for longer then 40 seconds. More of that, less White Park Act 1. However I will say that a lot of the music is starting to grow on me. This soundtrack seems like it would be great if it used different instruments, with the exception maybe of White Park. I can't wait to hear remixes
Are we allowing downloads here? If so, !!!!! from FFshrine made a proper gamerip of the E2 Beta 8 Soundtrack: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/sonic-4-episode-2-original-sound-version-113193/ Download links: Spoiler Mp3: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ewkmw3k8t19iu7a FLAC: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hi5eh8447nqe5hq (Part 1) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?vcijps8qksidhet (Part 2) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8doywbiqffioi81 (Part 3)
Spoiler White Park Act 2 uses part of the melody of WP Act 1? Say it ain't so!!!!!! About damn time this was done the correct way, at least somewhere in this game! (I'm not going to mention the Pleasure Castle bit....which I indeed love. I hear a bit of the original Icecap's bass going as well) EDIT: OMG, Oil Desert Acts 2 AND 3 takes Act 1 cues too! Tears of joy I tell you. This music could be a bit better, but by golly I'll take it! There is more variety, but still repeats just a little too much and could go like just a few more seconds longer before looping.
