They're slightly different falling animations. Mainly just where his arms are and (I think) his fists are clenched more.
Considering the iPad 2 can pump out graphics like this with less lag, I'm inclined to think it's just a shoddy port job.

It's the same model as the HD versions, but this time without the awful attempt and cell shading, lazy texture and really harsh lighting.
That email is what caused this rumor bullshit? ... Dear god. I'm not going to believe anything until we start to see either screenshots or footage. Also, that new version of Sonic looks way better.
Can we get a video of this iPad version? Also, does sonic still have his "jammin with my ipod" wait animation in the iPad version. it would be funny if it was him fooling around on an iPad.
Isn't that the same model but just without the crappy glossy effect? Anyway, I wonder if this means the Steam version will also be released without a prior announcement.
Video is pointless, it's Sonic 4 but without glossy cell shading on the models. Nothing that interesting. As for the waiting pose, it's just the usual tap-foot-check-watch.
The model looks alright, but the environment he's in looks even more like a magazine collage with a Sonic sticker pasted in.
Nothing to see here, it's still shit. Shame on anyone who bought this new version expecting otherwise.
