It requires at least iOS 5,but take it from me, it barely runs on an iPod touch 4th gen with iOS 5. There's a demo, so you may want to try that to see if you can get it to run without crashing (I couldn't get even half way through Sylvania Castle Act 1)
And even if it does run, don't expect a nice 60fps. I have an iPhone 5 and that thing only runs E2 at 30fps, with the special stages having a "special" control delay. Shit sucks, its only worth playing on PC and Consoles.
Based on what I saw in my demo, iPod touch 4th gen running iOS 6. It's got a choppy framerate, and it's slow. But it's playable speeds, and it doesn't crash. And I don't have the option of playing on a different console. Proud Mac and Wii user.
There are still codes available. I have not sent out pms yet either. Also, I have an iPhone 4S iOS 6 and it runs good on that. It is better on the consoles, but this is portable. And Episode Metal crashes, at least for me; I'm sure there will be a patch eventually.
