Woah! I have one of those somewhere. Don't think I've seen it since I moved in 2007, hope it didn't get thrown out. It was a bang shaped like an arcade machine. When you inserted money or pressed a button, the screen would Sonic promo images and it would play a snippet of someone playing Angel Island Zone.

It also had a door on the back that, when you opened it, would siren, "INTRUDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT," in a robotic voice. Unfortunately, the mechanism that detects the door opening eventually got worn down, causing the thing to alert whether I was anywhere near it or not, especially if I were asleep.

 

Holy shit. One of my friends had these on a road trip. Been bugging me for years trying to remember about it.

 

I loved the music of the Sonic Spinball LCD game. I also loved how the highest possible score was 19990. That little piece of awesome was awesome. I miss it.

 

Probably because they're depressingly simplistic.

 

I had one of these -- it was actually very easy. My sister also had the Sonic the Hedgehog Tiger Electronics game that was hard as hell. Neither one is still around, unfortunately.

 

I have one of these, in addition to the Sonic R and Sonic 2 ones.
