If that is true, then do something called RESEARCH, which is the art of looking around various sources of information to figure out the answer to a question you may have. You may have also noticed other hacks that use these tiles. Why not question those instead?

For the record, you could ask Esrael himself to use his stuff, and more than likely he'll say yes. He let me use his sound driver to base my hack upon at first, until I learned of his techniques. Brilliant man, Esrael.

 

Or I can just let the information come to me like you and Quick Man have talked about (wanting hackers to give out their stuff instead of letting other do the same job/research). It's way much easier. And it pisses you off exactly like I want it to be.

The best idea would be to check the screen mode index. I DO know that you should be able to figure it out by using Nemesis' savestate that loads the special stage in the beta.

Another solution would be to ask Hivebrain or Esrael.

 

I doubt it, but it wouldn't hurt to try. You could disassemble the ROM I suppose.

Make sure to keep us updated on your progress. It'd be a major kickass job if your ported the S1 special stage to S2 sucessfully. Hell -- maybe even two special stages? r0000x.

 

Yeah, sorta like the bonus stages in S3K. That would rock.
