I'm downloading the music right now, but for some reason, I cant download the patch. It gives me a new web page saying "patche of". I'll figure that one out eventually. Hopefully I can fit all the music into the site.

Why not? Anything that goes beyond the scope of Megadrive hardware is a fangame. Also, I don't want to listen to Evanescence or Keane while I'm playing Sonic.

I hate hacks with special MP3 musics that I can't play in game with my Mac emulator!
Usually, I never download these hacks, because I know in advance that I can't play them with the right music already set by its author.

I agree. Hacks should use the hardware the game was designed for.

Exactly. That's why when I do my music, I make it nice inside the ROM, not out. It should be compatible with all systems that have a Genesis emulator, including the hardware itself.

People, it's not that hard, either. I showed Kles and Heran how easy it is, and don't get me started on Erik JS... He disassembled the whole S&K sound driver!

Obviously if you are going to use the mp3 tool, you like good music. So just make the good music yourself, and learn some cool tricks along the way. You sure as hell will be more comfortable with hex if you weren't before.

Well, I guess we'll have to take on your hacking ways Tweaker, until someone manages to hack Sonic CD's music capabilities to be put in roms. Or would that even work?

.hack, you're really lucky this time. I have just enough room for all that music, but I'll post a link later in the this post when I've got it all uploaded.

Sonic CD can play mp3s using the emulator only. The real Sonic CD uses CDDA as it's main music format, and an optimized PCM version of the original Sonic sound driver for past music. Both the ability to play CDDA and the PCM chip are part of the Sega CD. Unless you hacked SCD, or ported your hack to Sega CD, it is impossible.

However, with my knowledge you can edit the past music in SCD.

...once I find out where it is. XD

thanks, I am gonna have the have more careful the next time I update it.

Sound fun. I would do that, but I don't have any idea of what I would need to do that. I also don't think I should that untill the final version so I don't have to with sonED to force to work with it. (It's not like I can that) I'm guessing that alot would have to changed to port it to Sega CD.

    Thanks Trigahd. :(

I've just finished the version with orginal music. And for anyone who downloaded the new music, please let me know what you thought about and how well it fits for the level/sound effect.

Hey, I'm trying to get a version of the Lost Paradise but it takes me to an Angelfire page that says I can't download. Could someone send me this game, in an IPS or BIN file? My email is [email protected]. Or could you tell me where I can find it in a place where I can download it.
