    Hmm, it's looking really cool, but shouldn't the final versions of Sonic & Tails appear in the title screen instead?

    Unless you already have plans for that.

    Sorry to be rude but let me say this straight: you're just wasting time here.
    1. Sonic 2 SMS doesn't use the SMPS sound engine, which means that a song converted with xm3smps wouldn't be suitable for actual use;
    2. Since it doesn't use the SMPS sound engine, Sonic 2 SMS can use the four psg channels at the same time (3 melodic + 1 noise); you can't do that in Sonic 1/2/3/K for the Genesis;
    3. That conversion in particular has timing issues all over the place, even in the chance that Sonic 2 SMS could use SMPS songs, doc eggfan should be deaf to actually use it
    Points 1 and 2 can be probably solved by reading this, though I have no idea how to use it, nor if its conversions can be actually used in-game or if someone has to crack the Sonic 2 SMS music format (which is unknown, afaik). Unfortunately I think the latter is a more probable option.
    Point 3 requires you to get more musical knowledge because it's not a good thing if you can't tell that that song's timing was completely broken.

    So yeah, this should serve as a reminder to everyone who thought to contribute to this project with xm3smps: don't.

    Dude, this is awesome.
    Of course I can't speak in behalf of Doc Eggfan, but I can give this a thumbs up!

    Now someone should contact Maxim from smspower and ask him if those mod2psg2 songs can be used in Sonic 2 or not. As I said, even if I seriously wish that it's possible, I highly doubt so ;)

    If Doc Eggfan doesn't mind I can proceed and contact Maxim myself.

    You're all working too hard and fast, I'm having trouble keeping up with inserting all the new content.

    That title screen is awesome Ocrillio.

    I'm currently sans sound card at the moment, so I'll take your word for it.

    I contacted Martin, the author of Mod2Psg2; he says that it may be possible to use Mod2Psg2 songs into Sonic 2 by replacing Sonic 2's default driver with his one. He is probably willing to help, so I invited him on this forum.

    Now my delivery boy job is completed and I shall disappear.
