Great work Eggfan, and same to Nineko for helping.
This project looks better and better every time there is some sort of update, be it minor or major.
Keep up the good work guys =)

 

Why not always have the palm part above the background, but make the blocks for the trunk?]

Also, is any more work going to be done on the grass?

BlackHole made the original, I tidied it up.

 

Maybe increase the width of the colour bands so they're a little thicker? (Assuming you get what I mean)

I love the graphics! The palmtree is very sexy! =P

You can take some ideas from the Training Area from Tails Sky Patrol!

The Training Area is basically an 8-Bit remix of Emerald Hill:



In Rail Canyon we see remixed HTz Trees, Oil Ocean graphics and Palmtree Panic tiles:







In Ruin Wood we have a mix between Mystic Cave and Aquatic Ruin...:





In Metal Island, there is a strange mix between Tidal Tempest and Wing Fortress o.O:



In Dark Castle we have Cassino Night Zone graphics;

Hmm, how does that grass look with the NTSC filter on?

It might need some more thickness added to it, so it doesn't appear like a uniform blur on real [old] TVs.
