Tails can lose rings for the player if he is hit by a badnik. Similar to the other prototype if Sonic & Tails are hit at the same time lots of rings will sprawl out regardless as to how many rings they actually have (Provided the player has at least 1 Ring) I added these 2 lines in as I think they are relevant. I'm not looking through the whole topic to see if anyone found this. While in hidden palace, you can use player 2's up and down to adjust the water level.
that's freaken crazy! Now it makes me wonder if near the end...if the water raised and you floated on a platfrom...

That Tails thing was wrong; took me a bit to notice. Anyway, I was trying to get Tails to get up the ramp where his famous life icon thing was located. I just couldn't get him to spindash in the right direction. I go back to find him and I notice that the water's lower. I debug to below the bridge and spindash pointlessly with Tails and notice the water level go down. I press up for Tails and the water goes up. I post here. You know the rest.
I understand this find is quite a break through for the Sonic research community. I haven't been on this message board or any other relating to this in a long time and to look around finding this news. It makes me want to be part of this community again.
