Sonic the Hedgehog: Pink Edition (aka Sonic 1: Pink Edition) is a character swap hack of the game Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, with character Amy Rose as playable character in place of Sonic the Hedgehog. Amy Rose's sprites are designed after her modern look. Amy Rose with classic-style sprites is available to play in the Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog (aka Amy in Sonic 1) hack. The games' sprites use Amy's initial design prior to Sonic Adventure. The game was modified by Sonic Retro Member E-122-Psi, with additional programming and coding by other members including MarkeyJester, MainMemory, FraGag, Selbi, Hayate, and Me, Rrose80149. Most programming unique from Amy In Sonic 1. It includes bugfixes, palette changes, and beta/prototype stuff like the Marble Zone's UFOs. Controls: Same as in Amy in Sonic 1 and Amy in Sonic 2, except Down + B or C is the Upward Dash and Up + B or C is Giant Steps are from Sonic 2: Pink Edition's previous builds.
