    I've finally made enough changes to the point where I feel I can release this publicly. List of changes so far...
    • All main zone musics are changed
    • Some various bits of new art
    • Sunset Hill Act 1 has a custom layout
    • Credits music changed, as well as Special Stage and others -- Play to find out! =P
    • You know, various stuff. Some stuff is still unchanged, but that's life, I suppose.

    It's very nice. Much better than the version you let me play. Though there are a few things that didn't feel right...

    The orange Stars in SLZ, they just don't look right.
    The music in LZ is good, but to fast paced for such a slow moving Zone.
    The music in SYZ, I don't think it fits.

    I very much look forward to your next release!

    I really liked that. It made me feel like the zone was going faster, or maybe it made me play faster? I dunno.

    I think it goes really well.

    The dark orange background in SHZ is harsh on the eyes. Or maybe I should turn a light on. You could make it brighter, right? I'll test the music part later.

    And... I know this is a bug in the original Sonic 1... But could you fix those fragmented mounts in the background? Other than that and the orange, the level looks very professional(from looking at the screenshots).

    The blue sky in Metallic Base doesn't seem to fit the rest of the level, but note that this computer's color perception is off.

    Hats off to you Tweeker! I thought Sonic 1 + was good but this blow's it right out of the water ;)

    Ok...so this is my 2 cent's (even though I'm not american!)

    (not many, but) THE BAD POINTS:
    Zone 1 is a bit too Orange <runs> and music seem's a bit out of place to me...
    Music in zone 3 feels wrong...

    The GOOD:
    Everthing else I guess! (I really liked Zone 4, nice job on the pallets and BGM)
    I thought Marble Garden BGM sounded great in sonic 1
    But I want Speed of sound and Tube panic from Chaotix in my hack! ;)
    HEY, and damm good job using S&K mini boss theme for Dr.Eggman fights...
    once again, this is a great looking/sounding hack!


    I'll play with this one more 2moro...

    Upon further investigation, I have the following:

    The music for Misty Maze... It sounds familiar, what is it?
    Boss music: It's good, but I like the Sonic 3(no knuckles attached) version better.
    Final Zone music: I've always... not liked this song. It just seemed a little bland. The original in Sonic 1 was better.
    Starry Night zone: The gold buildings in the background are pulled off damn good. It's just the problem is the stars... And the windows look ike they're reflecting fire, which is pretty neat.
    Special Stage: I love Sky Sanctuary's music. The problem is, I suck at the special stages, so I don't get a chance to listen to the music...

    Other than that, this pwns.

    I should change the star color. I just gotta redraw the stars to use different palette entries.

    Starry Night Zone's music is awesome. However, I'm not so sure about City Outskirts... the Sandopolis music just seems really out of place here.

    I like your choice of BGMs. Most work great with their zone, except for the Sandopolis music in City Outskirts. I enjoyed the new level layout in Sunset Hill Act 1 too. Palllette choices are good for the most part too. I look foward to seeing the rest of the levels redesigned.

    Sonic 65 - Various music ports, now on the project. (I did my fair share of ports too, though. And I had to fix his. =P)
